I had purchased 3 vehicles from Magic City Ford in Lexington since 2016 but they would not match the price at Malloy so I went there. Teddy and John were AWESOME. It was a great experience everyone was so friendly and excited to help me. good Job Malloy.

I purchased a used (2021) Ford Expedition which I am very satisfied with. Would have given 5 stars if not for couple of things which I will list below.Here is what I’m not happy about.I live about an hour from the dealership. I looked at the Expedition on the evening of October 30th and told the salesperson and the sales manager that I was interested, however, I wasn’t prepared to make a decision that night. The next day (October 31), I told the sales person that I was interested in moving forward and to send me the paper work. The salesperson really wanted me to do it that day because it was the end of the month. So I agreed to come down (1 hour drive to the dealership) and told him I wanted the car detailed like a new car (not simply a quick wash/vacuum job) and he said that he would take care of it. I emphasized that I wanted it detailed to the extent that he would if he was buying his dream car (which happens to be a brand new Ford Bronco) so that we would be on the same page. He agreed. There were a few sunflower seeds in one of the door wells, leaves in the back storage department, visible dirt on the interior side walls, etc.As I was leaving I noticed the license plate was inside the wind shield on the driver’s side because the front license plate holder was missing. I brought this to Nico attention and it was eventually resolved. I did appreciate that it was resolved, however, this that isn’t something I should have had to insist on before leaving the dealership; which I did.My impression was they were more interested in getting the deal closed on the 31st than they were on taking care of their customer’s (me) needs.I letter the sales person know this (via text) and the general manager (via email). 3 days later neither has communicated back with me.Anyway I am happy with the purchase of the Expedition but very disappointed with the dealership.

Everyone was amazing! I cannot recommend and say enough praises of Malloy Ford enough! They did not try to sell us a vehicle we did not want. They stayed within our price range and went above and beyond to help us find that perfect vehicle. They are now our new Ford dealership and we live 1.5 hours away. Definately recommend them!

We've had plenty of good experiences with service people here, but it's been a consistently bad experience overall. They've constantly overcharged us and upsold us on things we don't need.Though it could be coincidence, about half the time we get the car back from service, there is a new issue within the next day or two.I once pointed out that things seem to be breaking much more often than they should be and asked the service person if he was surprised by this. He said, "No, because human beings make mistakes." I thought maybe this would lead at minimum to some apology that they had screwed up -- "sorry our mistakes are draining your bank account" -- but he just left it at that.Thank you to the folks who work there that we HAVE had good experiences with -- this isn't a criticism of you. We're just done with Malloy Ford overall.

If you’re looking to buy a Ford in Charlottesville, go visit Renee. She is top notch, knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, not pushy. I was searching for a new Escape plug-in hybrid and Malloy just happened to have the exact one I was looking for. On Ford’s website it was listed as “just arrived”. I quickly scheduled a test drive and fell in love with the car. Nico is the sales guy who helped me. He was very friendly, knowledgeable about the vehicle, and even gave me his cell phone number, if I had any questions, which I did! I’ve only had my Escape for two days, and I absolutely love it. It’s everything I hoped for and then some! Thank you, Nico and all the wonderful staff at Malloy for a great experience.

I recently purchased a 2020 Ford Escape from Malloy in Charlottesville. I first saw it online at Malloy in Alexandria. I went to our local C'ville Malloy and I asked for Levi. He had introduced himself, after closing hours on a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago as my husband and I walked around their car lot. I asked Levi if I could get some more information about a car I was interested in at Malloy in Alexandria. He pulled it up on his computer and we talked about it for several minutes. Then then Levi told me he could have the car HERE in our local dealer the NEXT day for me to test drive.The car had everything I was looking for and more. Levi kept me informed throughout the day on the arrival time and even sent a picture when it arrived in Charlottesville. I drove it within 30 minutes of it getting to Charlottesville. I LOVED it and bought it. Minus a Gold Star certification that Alexandria pulled off with the move, the car is PERFECT!!Levi gave me a great tutorial on all of the equipment and how it works. I have had my almost new Ford ESCAPE for just 6 days and I have to say it is exactly what I was looking for. THANK YOU Levi, for your WONDERFUL customer service from start to finish!

We purchased a used Ford Explorer. We spent hours there during the purchase.We purchased the Resistall 360°.I went there to have that applied. Told it would be an hour. I understand that they had to clean the vehicle first. But we were there for 3 hours. Was in a hurry to get home so I didn't inspect the entire vehicle before driving off the lot.BIG MISTAKE. There is a 10" Crack in my windshield. It wasn't noticeable at first because of reflection from the light. But we hadn't driven a tenth of a mile before calling them to say the windshield was cracked. They said it was their word against mine that they didn't do it. Then they said they would cover the deductible. Now they say they will only pay half. Never again will I step foot on that lot

BEWARE!!! The only reason I am giving a 1 is because the salesperson seemed like a good guy, Beware of aggressive sale tactics by managers. They held the keys to our trade because we did not want to make a deal. We had to demand them back after asking for them 4 times. One of the managers who was not part of negotiating told me I would never get a better deal in Richmond, but Richmond took it as a challenge and saved us 5000 on the same truck. Beware of this dealership.

Malloy Ford was a very familial atmosphere. I was about an hour away and they were flexible in allowing me to test drive the vehicle. They stayed after work hours, which I was so grateful for. The finance manager, Miles and the saleswoman, Renee, providing above 5-star customer service and were incredibly helpful through the process.Renee even drove an hour out of her way to deliver the car for me after I signed the paperwork the night before. Very grateful to have honest folks like Renee and Miles in the industry. Will definitely consider them for my next person and can't recommend enough.

Excellent experience as an out of state buyer. Salesperson, Hunter, was honest, friendly, and worked very hard to get me comfortable. Vehicle was exactly as described. Evelyn in Finance is a sweetheart and super good at what she does. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend doing business here. Definitely ask for Hunter and Evelyn!!!

My husband and I was so impressed by the staff at Malloy. They all were very very pleasant and worked really hard to make sure that we walked away with a reliable car. We really appreciate all that they done to help us. We will recommend anybody to give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I had a mixed experience at the Ford dealership. When I took my car for an inspection, they fixed a light without notifying me and charged me for it. Later, I noticed my side mirror was more damaged than before. When I brought it up with the service advisor, Paul Bergen, he was rude and dismissive, which was disappointing.However, after my boyfriend called, we spoke with Audrey, who was very pleasant and acted promptly. She asked us to return on Monday to address the issue. When we did, the service manager, Jim or Tim (I'm not sure about the name), was kind and understanding. He assured us that if the car was brought in with that damage, it wouldn't have passed inspection.While the managers were helpful and nice, the initial encounter with the worker was unpleasant. I hope they can improve the customer service aspect, as it can significantly impact the overall experience.

This is the worst place to buy your car from. The handling is uncomfortable. The employee used to sell us the car with a lot of anger on his face. They were not friendly at all. When buying the car, I discovered a problem with the transmission. I went to them and told them I wanted to return the car. He told me. We do not return anything. If there is a problem, we only fix it. This is illegal, unfair, lies and deceit. Stay away from this deceitful place
