Wow!
I came in contact with (2) rude store employees in one visit.Scraggly looking guy at the customer service counter was rude and so was the lady,I guess she was lady at package pick-up.
Ive picked up several packages from here even when the package pickup was in a different location and not once has anyone asked for my driver's license UNTIL TODAY. June 30th,2024.
We All Know What That's Was About!
I Say No More!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This Lowe's has the absolute worst customer service!!! I've been trying to place an order online for a specific product three times now. Every time I order it, it gets canceled. The reasoning was because the item was out of stock, but online it stated it was in stock.
I called this morning to see if the item was in stock, as the website said they had 16 to avoid having the item cancelled again. I spoke to someone in customer service, and she transferred me to flooring. The phone rang for 3 minutes straight; no one picked it up. I was transferred back to customer service three times since no one answered. The customer representative didn't even have the decency to speak to me and let me know no one was available. She just kept transferring me back to flooring.
I had to leave the office to drive all the way across town to Lowe's to find out for myself if the item was in stock. I proceeded to the isle that the website told me it was on. I was there for maybe 2 minutes, and I found the item I have been trying to order just fine! I turned to walk towards checkout, and they gated me inside the isle!!!!!!! There were three associates around that I could see, and the person who gated me inside the isle is a real piece of work! How dare you do that to someone without letting them know?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I had to crawl under the side of the gate, where an opening was, just to get out. RIDICULOUS!
I cannot wait until Home Depot comes to Charlottesville because they may actually care about their customers! I'm going to speak to my President and CEO to cancel our pro membership account and let them know they should shop elsewhere while they are doing renovations on their house. Word of mouth is everything, and I will be sure to spread the word!

Had a great experience at Lowe's this past weekend. The staff, including the General Manager, were incredibly helpful. Was looking around at grills and they got me taken care of. Knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly responsive.

I don't know what the expletive is going on with whoever orders the inventory but it is expletive atrocious. I'm a real estate investor and I go to Lowe's almost exclusively for my supplies all over Virginia North Carolina and Tennessee. every time I go there hoping that they'll have something it's just that... A hope. severely under stocked

Terribly stocked. Some of the staff try but they move stuff so often and dont have so many things they should. Service is hit or miss. This is the worst lowes i have been to.
I drive an extra 10 miles to home depot in waynesboro bc those guys are fantastic. Every time they are great!

Excellent customer service, but a somewhat confusing layout. I have spent a lot of time here either browsing or shopping, and I have always had an excellent experience with the staff here who are very helpful and kind. Most of my time spent here has been me trying to find things, which can be a bit of a challenge, but the staff is always ready to help. They have a great selection of items/tools and the store is clean and well-taken care of.

It's a shame that we don't have home depot. 5 whole pick up orders have been canceled in the last month! Ranging from $30-$700. They are beyond lazy there, there's no other excuse. The products are in store! I don't care if it takes longer than a day for them to complete the order, at least make an attempt. I'm taking the trip & my money to Waynesboro for home depot now, they've been more than happy to provide 5 star customer service. Save yourself the stress cville. Fingers crossed that the rumors are true & home depot opens here!

Place is a mess. There was more product on the floor behind the shelf than there was on the shelf in aisle 14. The stuff that was on the shelf was scattered and disorganized.
Their website said they had 6 of the item I was looking for in stock. They had none in the aisle and bay the website indicated and the price on the shelf was $20 higher than advertised online. Tried to find someone to ask about back stock and price-matching but couldn't find anyone for 45 minutes. Just decided to leave.
Edit: Went back for something else and there was a noticeable attempt to organize the aisle mention. Gave them an extra star for following up and seeing a change. Still seems to be difficult to find assistance, but that's what I've come to expect from a big box store.

I ordered items from the store same day delivery and they haven't showed up 5 days later. People should know that in this case online support can't cancel the order and the store will not call back or cancel. So you pay but get nothing.
