Light House Studio now owns and operates Vinegar Hill Theatre. Light House Studio equips young people with the skills and confidence to tell their stories and build community through collaborative filmmaking. We seek to foster a community where Charlottesville’s young people flourish as students, storytellers, and citizens. Vinegar Hill Theatre is a historic arthouse cinema right in downtown Charlottesville! The only local, independent movie theater, Vinegar Hill Theatre continues to screen art films and operate as a teaching space with workshops through Light House Studio.
