The absolute worst kroger I've been in, the produce was rotting and the chicken smelled terrible, and alot of manager deals going on due to expired or soon to expire stuff that hasn't been bought, the staff was of now help.

I have been picking up orders from Kroger for three years now. everything has gone to crap since Cateri was moved to a different location. I can never get ahold of anyone in the pickup office and Cateri used to take care of me like I was her number one customer. I kind of dread going to this Kroger for pickup now. Drew is the only one that keeps me coming back. I call and ask to add something to my order and the employees don't seem to be trained how to do that because I know it's possible and Cateri and her team used to do it all of the time for me. I'm thoroughly disappointed in Cateri's move to another store. She was an amazing employee.

Very miserable pickup experience - 2 hr wait for groceries. Company needlessly put their staff under tremendous pressure to get orders out despite being understaffed. Dec 30, 2023, we had a very miserable pickup experience. My wife went at the appointed time to get the order. She was told they were still shopping the order. It seems 3-4 cars were all sitting around waiting also. She was parked there for 2 hours waiting for our groceries. 2 hrs after it was supposedly "ready". with associates checking periodically saying "it'll just be a few more minutes!". It took much longer than that! Finally they came out with the order and said something off hand like "oh looks like you're orders finally here!" without apologies from the store or management. I feel terrible for the staff scrambling to get our order. And I was not so much disappointed with their delay, or being understaffed, as I was the poor handling of the situation by this company and store. If they were truly short staffed they could have told my wife to come back in a few hours. They could have shut off online orders for the day and spared their staff and customers a great deal of stress. The manager could have been running point with customers to smooth things over and apologize, making it a much less uncertain situation. None of that happened. I had to call the assistant manager. She only offered a $5 gift card. Emailing corporate they gave us $30 gift card. Why did I have to be proactive about pursuing them?I'm left wondering whether this company cares about their customers (and their staff!). Other companies would have made this right from the gate for all involved. I don't expect perfection, but I do expect when things go wrong, the company shows their care to customers and staff.

Today I was saved from a very embarrassing check out by two great workers, Will, and another one that forgot his apron. 10 out of 10 customer service, and they made sure I didn't steal the food without paying . Great personalities and would recommend giving them a raise

Worker low key gave me some sass. Overall not a bad place. Also my phone number doesn’t work when I put it in in place of my Kroger card even though they should be linked and my Kroger card still works. Not too bad of a store overall I guess pretty good beer prices. Also the bananas aren’t green enough like give me some that I can get that won’t turn brown within 15 hours of purchase

The store manager, Kristen Flemmer, had me work for her without pay and without documenting it in their system. She has ignored three emails about this, and upper management is merely CC'ing me their requests to her to ask what's going on. I have an active complaint against her with the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry. I am not the only employee who was being shortchanged while I was there. Please take your business somewhere more honest.

The worst Kroger I have ever been, the service is a trash, especially the counter Robert with red waistcoat is rude and often rolls eyes to me.
