Expositional preaching, congregational worship, and biblical faithfulness are the hallmarks of Jefferson Park. Numerous opportunities to grow in your knowledge of God's Word, including bible studies and seminary classes. Rich fellowship as the body of Christ, seeking to live for the glory of God, as the body builds itself up in love. Praise God for this church.

I joined this "church" when I lived in Charlottesville, moved away and married a Catholic. I was subsequently harassed by various members, many of whom I didn't know personally, with emails, phone calls, and text messages stating that "I'd gone against what God commands us in scripture." I called the pastor and asked to be removed from membership. Months later, I received a 3 page handwritten letter, stating that I was "unequally yoked in marriage" and by doing so, I've "denied what Christ has clearly commanded." Included in this letter, the following, "What heightens our concern is that in response to the brothers and sisters who sought to care for you by sharing biblical warnings, you isolated yourself and continued in this act of disobedience."My advice to those seeking a warm friendly, inviting church..... look elsewhere.
