They’re the only health food store left in town besides the big chains.

They have the best selection and tastiest produce in Charlottesville and their produce prices are reasonable. They always have a wide variety of local fruits and vegetables, including organic or no-spray, that have much more flavor than the horrible cold storage produce you'll find at Whole Foods or other Krogers. It is well worth coming here just for the produce.

Best produce in Charlottesville. Local and organic options, lots of healthy choices and great staff. Make sure you get a coupon from their website.

They're not really big on promoting the store so their products do the talking, and believe me. They talk.

Was looking for a local organic juice & smoothie shop while in town and this was one of the very few open on Saturday afternoons. It’s very much local Whole Foods vibes. They had a diverse selection of quality items. The juice bar is in the back of the grocery store. It was small but surprisingly had a lot of great options. We ordered the Energy Builder with Vit C & Maca Powder boosters. It was very good. Highly recommend. Will probably stop by again before leaving this weekend.

This is one of my staple stops in town. One of the best selections of healthy food and great selection of supplements/herbs too. Reasonable prices for a health food store and the books, crystals and gifts up front are always interesting and fun. They also have the best smoothies in town, like hands down, best smoothies. Great bulk section and produce too.. It's hard not to Love IY.

A real pleasure supporting a local small business such as Integral. Frank does an excellent job stocking the produce section with the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

Best tasting fresh Ginger. LOVE their selection of spices, and our parrot loves their nuts, and Turkish Figs. Have found their Trail mixes to be fresh as well. Teas and more teas, can spend much time selecting an array of teas for sleep, health, and get up and go teas. Just enjoyed a great convo with an employee as store was not busy at the time. Wish her the best in continuing her education. My go to store in C'Ville, ever needs one.

This 'shop' needs to change their name to 'NahtZee Natural Foods'... Very unfriendly staff and they treat you as though they are doing you a favor by letting you shop there. The prices are shamefully high (unless you happen to have your 15% discount coupon.) Add to that the fact that the 'Mask Mandate' is so yesterday but the NahtZee Staff will not serve you without a mask.. Of all places, this shop should be celebrating good health and strengthening the immune system. So sad to see this unconscious behaviour. Predicting the eventual demise of this poorly run establishment.

It was a delight to make a chance find of Integral Yoga near the beginning of learning about our home town. I was drawn by the wide selection of heritage apples and pears last fall. It is special to know that local Pink Lady and Albemarle Pippens will be a winter staple in the produce department. I was a long-time member of the California Rare Fruit Growers in Palo Alto and fondly remember grafting many of the available varieties onto trees in my yard. It is a gift to have a greengrocer that offers something more diverse than the bland generic selections found in supermarkets, even 'fancy' ones.
