Utilizing the “Emerald Card” for deposits from the IRS to me has resulted in 1,400$ being stolen by Pathwards Bank (servicer) from me. No employee of HRBlock in person or corporate via multiple phone calls has resulted in resolution.
Extremely unprofessional and lacking in accountability.
I advise anyone who reads this not to use HRBlock as if you have an issue you can guarantee they will not help and do not care.

My boyfriend used the Water Street location in Charlottesville to file his 2022 taxes. Paid them over $200 for their supposedly guaranteed services and quick refund. What a joke! The woman didn't even send them in! We had to go back and have a different, more knowledgeable gentleman file them the following day due to her mistakes. It's been 3 weeks and he still hasn't received his "quick" refund he paid for. Do not waste your money with these people, they lie about what you're getting and when you try to question management they hang up on you!
