“Great prices on cards, had a little hickup with PSA submissions, but the guys went out of their way to make up for it. Finally, a cardshop that does business the right way!”
“Dwayne, from the second I saw him a welcoming greeting, and willingness to assist with jokes, knowledge, inspiration, direction, and support. If there was a physical form of guiding light or parting clouds, Dwayne was that. The gratitude is real. I found what I needed for my art project, techniques, tools, and option... I am very grateful.”
“This is a hobby store. The hours posted don't seem to have anything to do with when they are open.
Last time I was there an employee told me "no one flies RC helicopters" anymore. He then went on some kind of unhinged rant about a guy who died 10 years ago flying a nitro helicopter inside his camping tent. It made no sense and as someone shopping for RC hobby stuff it was a really weird thing for him to talk about.”
“The End Games is my “third place” in Charlottesville. It has a very inclusive and welcoming staff and community. As someone who first stepped into the store in 2021 having never touched a TCG before (besides just opening Pokemon packs for fun as a kid), I was really intimidated to play Magic, especially because I didn’t know anyone and there’s not many women who play. The End Games’ staff and community made it easy for me to feel welcomed, and I feel as though this was the first time I ever really made friends that I would consider to be lifelong ones — all thanks to this place. I even met my partner here who was my opponent during a Friday Night Magic. Shout out to staff member Brenden, who helps to organize many of the Magic events at the shop — he’s always doing the most. Overall, The End Games is truly a special place in Charlottesville.”
