I booked an appointment with Kelva because of all the numerous wonderful reviews she has, however my experience was not the same. She got water all over my face when shampooing my hair and was quite rough, but admittedly this is not a service I usually do at other salons so I figured I just didn’t know what to expect. My haircut took less than 10 minutes. Another woman walked in during my appointment and spoke to her about her appointment being at 3, which was the same time mine was so I believe this is why she rushed. My hair was very wet when she said she was done and I couldn’t really see the cut. I left and ran some errands, then when I got home I saw the right side of my hair was a good 2-3 inches longer than the left. I called back and she asked me to come back. I was back in 15 minutes and though she was apologetic, I still feel she rushed. I had to point out about 3-4 times I still felt it was too long. She said I think what you’re seeing is your side bang, so I settled for asking her to give the right side an angle. After pointing it out so many times, I didn’t feel either way I was going to get her to make it even, so I said it looked good and left. This was Sunday, today is Tuesday and I have done my hair for work, and I am embarrassed to wear my hair down. It is still obviously uneven. Unfortunately, I’m going to have to go to another salon for it to be fixed.Service: Haircut

I showed pictures of what I wanted. I picked out a color swatch in line with what I wanted. But the outcome was terrible!I knew there was something wrong when I could feel that the foils were not pushed all the way to the root/scalp.The outcome was no where near the color I requested. Nor was it a match tobl the color swatch that I chose.I'm extremely upsetI'm calling the manager when she's supposed to be there on Tuesday (today is Sunday).Services: Bang trim

Edited to add:I went online and filled out the form provided by Hair Cuttery. Management contacted me the next day and provided me a refund of the $16 charge.I came to my appointment with my hair down, didn't have to wait to be checked in, discussed that it had been a year since my last haircut and what I wanted done. Prior to taking me to get my hair shampooed and performing any service I was told it was “$49 for everything” (shampoo, cut, blow dry). I get to the register and my total is $65. I confirmed that I was told $49 for “everything”, just to be told that it is a long hair charge. Yes, my hair was long so that isn’t the issue. The problem is telling customers what their cost is prior to starting services and hitting them with a completely different price at checkout. The response I received from my stylist was “sorry I didn’t know.”Please be honest in the future as you knew I had long hair and you knew you had an additional charge - something that was not discussed with me.
