Purchased a car from Flow in Charlottesville. Less than a year later, it failed the state inspection. We had two garages look at the car -- both concurred that it would take about $1500 to get the car to standard, plus another $1800-$2000 to fix the A/C. We contacted Flow to see if their service department could help us out -- they were unable to fix any of the issues, but charged us another $450 dollars for looking at the car and trying/failing to fix it. This is the stereotypical rip off used car dealer -- there are many other better options for car buying in he Charlottesville area. Steer clear of this place!

I think this is one of the best run dealerships I've been to. I've worked at dealerships and have done business with a dozen others. They do good follow up, provide great service, cost is competitive and it's clean. It doesn't feel like you've just been "taken" when you've done business here.

Flow VW in Charlottesville is not your ordinary car dealership. Everyone hates the car buying experience, and I for one, dread it. But Flow is different. VERY different. No pressure, no aggravation, and no cheap sales tactics here. The sales people give you time to look around the lot, and when they come to talk to you, they seem to be more interested in knowing what YOU are looking for than what THEY want you to buy. They take time to listen to you, and are absolutely no pressure about the sales experience. And the best part is their automobiles, and their service after you purchase one. VWs are fabulous cars! Terrific gas mileage, comfortable, roomy, dependable, and sexy to look at, not to mention drive. Check out a VW today, and visit Flow. You get a free Saturday car wash for your new VW, and great service. I highly recommend Flow Automotive. We just bought our second VW there last week!
