Friendly and efficient folks at the counter at the Charlottesville airport. It makes the whole process MUCH easier if you take care of the paperwork online before you get there. I was in & out in less than 3 minutes and got the car that I had requested.

Ryan Syzmanski at the local Charlottesville location was fantastic. He gave amazingly great service. Your corporate phone system and corporate service reps are terrible, however. They need to be taught that the customer is the person who pays their salaries.

Always excellent service at the desk when I pick up a car at the Charlottesville, Virginia Airport. The agent let me switch to a car that better met my needs. Kenneth especially is always so helpful.However, once you pick up a car, there is no way to communicate with the location. The phone numbers on the business card don't work, and when I emailed the manager I got no response.If anything comes up during your rental and you need to contact them, such as needing booster seats for my grandkids or a minor accident, or need to contact lost and found after rental return, you're out of luck!Otherwise, great service and great car!

Would not recommend this branch whatsoever. We reserved a car and didn’t bother to inform us that they don’t take debit cards. They then told us that another branch nearby had a car and that we could get a taxi or call an Uber there. Got there and they didn’t have any cars but had a shuttle. So the airport Enterprise didn’t even bother to check to see if they had cars and we wasted $20 on an Uber. Thanks for making every step of this as painful as possible :)

Picked up a car today. 45 minutes driving - and "MAINTENANCE NEEDED NOW" alert comes on. Call Enterprise- and they say I have to bring it back. 30 min there and 30 min back - an hour out of my way - and they say I have to talk to the branch regarding compensation. Branch won't pick up. They say branch closes at midnight, branch recording says closes at 10:30. No confirmation- no help - no nothing. SUPER disgusting lack of service for a repeat customer!

Wish I could give ZERO stars! Reserved a suburban, got a highlander, eventually switched to a minivan. What’s the whole point of making a reservation one month in advance if the car I wanted is not available at the pick up?! The manager said they would offer partial refund, then they never returned any of my calls and emails!!! Filing complaints with enterprise corp. terrible experience.

The car was fine, but the service was dangerously bad! I rented a car here for 2 weeks to move to a new city. They completely botched my rental contract.1) After I returned my car at my destination, they started charging me for extra days because they decided that I had to return it back in Charlottesville. This was solved via several phone calls to customer service. The people at this location do not answer the phone.2) The receipt they provided is wrong, it has the wrong return location. I have to have this rental reimbursed by my employer as relocation expenses. With the wrong dropoff, this is a problem. I escalated the issue but with no results. Enterprise customer service keeps promising I will get a call back from their manager, but that is not happening.3) I signed for supplemental liability insurance with my rental, which they never put in. Thankfully, the trip went well, but I was not insured as I have requested and lead to believe.If you can, consider renting from another company.

What kind of business lets you reserve and pay for a car when there are none available? We spent over $100 on ubers to and from this location for nothing. Plus 2 hours time wasted. And then the cherry on top was that the front desk staff was the most RUDE man I have ever spoken to in my life. I was clearly frustrated at the situation and instead of being understanding or apologetic, he said that even though the website says there are cars "that doesn't make a car magically appear." He was extremely passive aggressive and blamed it on his "manager who never works" ? Someone who feels comfortable speaking to customers like that has no business in customer service. The same exact scenario then happened to another paying customer behind us. 100% will never use Enterprise again. Please look into what kind of folks you hire and how they speak to people and fix the issues with your damn website.

The Hyundai Sonata that I was given, really surprised me with the amount of quickness it had, yet was very drivable and maintained a great mpg. First car a have ever driven with active driver assist steering, which I didn’t know it had until I started pushing a bunch of buttons just to see what each one did. I thought that it would bad but I can say the car drives itself much better than 90% of idiots on the road.

I had made a car reservation for 8:30 AM, but upon my arrival, there was nobody present at the car rental location. They did not show up for almost 30 minutes, leaving me and my friends waiting. I wish she would at least leave her phone number so we could reach when we are there. She finally arrived after I decided to rent a car from Avis and completed all the necessary procedures with them. This experience was quite inconvenient and frustrating.

Location closes early. Flight was late, was told location would stay open 2 hours past closing. Nope, employees had other plans on a Friday night. Took an hour Uber ride to get to Richmond for early morning appointment. Not reliable, rent elsewhere.

The guest service representative for my pickup and drop-off were great. This review is not an indictment on them, the front desk staff deserve more positive comments and treatment.The car I was given for my recent rental was clearly not cleaned nor looked at when I took it. Outside was still covered in dirt, which honestly isn't a big deal. Inside the car there was a single clorox wipe that I hope was used on the steering wheel, but was thrown on the floor. Previous renter had miscellaneous trash in the passenger seat, had fast food cartons thrown in the back seat, and there was copious amounts of dirt and debris throughout the car showing it wasn't even lightly vacuumed. And then the car had a warning light for a problem with the all wheel drive system. So I wasn't terribly impressed with this experience, especially for the price of enterprise over other car rental services.
