“We had a fabulous experience yesterday with Noah P. at this Verizon store in Charlottesville. Our grown daughter was in town for a wedding and was flying back to South America that afternoon. Unfortunately, her iPhone was having lots of trouble and she was hoping to upgrade to the iPhone 16 Pro, but she only had about an hour of time before she needed to get to the airport. Noah quickly understood the situation and helped her get the new phone and transfer all of her data to the new phone in time for her flight. He was highly professional and friendly with a super high level of customer service. It was one of the best interactions we have had a Verizon store. Noah, thanks for all of your help and support during a stressful time for our daughter yesterday afternoon.”
“Went in to get some information on car stereo receivers and ended up purchasing one in store with confidence!
Jake was a very helpful sales team member who not only provided wonderful information but good customer service, too. Jake, Chris, and the rest of the sales team are friendly when I have been in in the past.
My appointment for installation is upcoming, and I will follow up with my experience then, eagerly expecting it to match the great service my wife and I received initially.”

1849 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville“On Christmas Day I was sent out for half and half. Tried everywhere, but of course nothing was open. Went into this store as a Hail Mary, and though they didn’t have any for sale, Sarah and another woman (who didn’t have a name tag on) let me get a bunch of the little cups for coffee. I then tried to buy a cup of coffee, and Sarah didn’t charge me.It was a nice gesture, a note of kindness in a normally impersonal context. This is how you do customer service, and I’ll remember it. Happy New Year to you guys.”
“Received great customer service from the Manager at this location and all the staff very patient and answered all questions very knowledgeable with the metro experience will definitely be back with more business”

“This is a hobby store. The hours posted don't seem to have anything to do with when they are open.
Last time I was there an employee told me "no one flies RC helicopters" anymore. He then went on some kind of unhinged rant about a guy who died 10 years ago flying a nitro helicopter inside his camping tent. It made no sense and as someone shopping for RC hobby stuff it was a really weird thing for him to talk about.”

330 Pantops Ctr, Charlottesville“After paying $1500 for my last washer the transmission broke after only 18 months it was useless. This is the second time an expensive appliance has broken in less than 2 years of use. I decided this time to rent my washer & dryer. The staff at Aaron’s are very knowledgeable, helpful, and show customers appreciation. I will only rent from now on repairs included along with free pickup & delivery.”

“Mine is an interesting story of events that led me to the Verizon store @ 5th st Market Sq.
After meeting a fabulous salesman at cellular 1 named Michael, who was setting up my replacement phone that unfortunately wasn't working; I was frustrated & asked if I could speak to their corporate offices which I did & asked for a 256 phone to replace my 128 phone at no additional cost & was told by somebody young & arrogant that that wasn't a possibility that it would cost me an additional $25 per month?!
!I did not agree w/ this considering my many years of being a loyal customer W/ cellular 1 ; I was very disappointed in his reaction so therefore, I left cellular 1 & went to Verizon.
Soooo ... I originally walked into the Verizon store on Emmett Street & an elderly gray hair man try to help me but seemed very flustered when I told him I did not need 128 storage that I needed 256 storage. He seemed to get very confused & offered me information on the 128 phones which I said no that's not what I'm interested in ; at that point ; I left & called the Verizon store at 5th Street station & was Lucky enough to meet someone by the name of Luciano… I was there last Friday to get my new iphone 15 Pro & returned there today to finish setting up my phone. He was extremely personable and very patient.! needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised & very satisfied! thank you, Luciano!”
