I love shopping at Lynne Goldman’s Jewelry Shop every time on the mall. All items are unique and perfect for gifts, from high end to less expensive items.

We visited Downtown mall on Sunday evening. It is a nice pedestrian street with lots of art, comics, books, and clothing shops. Perfect for a relaxing stroll, and there’s plenty of seating.
However, late in the evening, some homeless individuals sleeping on the street and shouting created a disturbance, which affected the overall experience.

Great concept, but kind of sad. Maybe just because it’s older, but most shops weren’t very inviting from the outside, the outdoor sellers were very sketchy. If you aren’t there for another reason I’d say it’s not worth the visit just to see an area of city with no traffic. It was kind of cute but not as good as all the pics I’ve seen suggest it might be.

Such a cute downtown area. A variety of shops, not just boutique womenswear (which have become overprice dime-a-dozens). Large outdoor seating areas for most of the restaurants in the area.

We were just killing time on a train excursion. Wonderful shade from old oak trees! Great sitting places in the shade. Many places to choose for a snack. Selection of nice sit-down restaurants. And best of all was the Paramount Theater.

Wonderful walkable district with shops, restaurants, businesses, and cafes. Fridays in the summer brings the community together at the Ting Pavilion with Fridays after Five!
