This store is so short staffed the store manager who isn't a pharmacist had to start doing pharmacy because there was only one pharmacist and he was busy giving people vaccines. I desperately needed my anti-depressants that I've already skipped two days and was experiencing bad withdrawal from. So I made the mistake of going there immediately after I got my prescription. I understood that I would have to wait until the pharmacist was finished putting it together, and patiently allowed them the to take care of all the other customers first until the line was gone and I was the last person left. While serving everyone the manager had a casual conversation with us about how they're understaffed because no one wants to work there. Me and several other customers pointed out that other CVS locations are fully staffed and don't have trouble finding employees. He stated that's because CVS makes sure that those locations get people since they're busier locations. I stated that just proves it's not people not wanting to work, but CVS not wanting to give this location employees. The manager didn't like that comment apparently. He was polite to all the other customers except me because he didn't like my opinions on the matter. When they were ready with my medication and serving all of the other customers, I went back up to the counter and politely mentioned that I had a Good RX coupon as well. The store manager proceeded to throw a fit and grab my phone out of my hand, and throw my phone and my medicine and tell me I had to wait even longer now because he needed that before the medicine was ready. Turns out the pharmacist already did the Good RX coupon and all he had to do was ask him to make sure it was done instead of throwing a temper tantrum. He was completely unprofessional for that. Moral of the story, CVS needs to hire more people since clearly their store managers are so stressed that they feel the need to behave this way. They need to make sure store managers stay in the back and have no business with customers if this is how they're going to act. And if they can't get anybody to work then they need to start transferring people from fully staffed locations. Do better CVS!

I can't even count the times they have turned me away from the pharmacy because they can't figure out my medicine. I had to put them on the phone myself with my doctor. Terrible service. They have no idea what they are doing. They never update their systems and they are always behind. I don't know why I still go there after years of frustration. I see the same people go in and get turned away after waiting for hours because they are so behind, they cannot manage their systems, they don't know what they are reading on their computers, and they simply don't know what they are doing.

I used the CVS website to make an appointment at the CVS on fifth Street in Charlottesville. I got an appointment for 3 PM today to get the Moderno vaccine. I change my schedule all around cancel some things to be able to be here at 3 PM. I arrive at 3 PM and I'm told that we don't do vaccinations except at four and then on a walk in basis. This is very disappointing. Feels like I'm being asked to be at CVS's beck and call when I go to all the trouble to make an appointment. When I should the written document that I got showing my 3 PM appointment for CVS person was not apologetic and just repeated I need to get back at four.

Absolute worst pharmacy EVER- don't use unless you absolutely have to. They're unfriendly, unhelpful, and uncaring. They never answer the phone (like literally was on hold for hours and nothing) and usually ignore me when I go in. They're really slow- I watch them behind the counter when they're ignoring me, and none of them seem to ever know what's going on.

My COVID booster and senior flu shot were scheduled for this afternoon. This morning I received a text advising that CVS had canceled my appointment. I also received an email stating the appointment was canceled. Neither communication included a reason for the cancellation. I called the toll free number, and, after pressing numbers and not getting the information I needed, asked for a rep, and after waiting....and waiting....got to speak to a rep. She was very nice, and obviously wanted to help, but the answer to my question was not available. Apparently, they were receiving numerous calls about this issue. So, I called the store ..... went through the same contortions as before.....and got nobody. When I try to reschedule, I have to start from "scratch", as though the data previously submitted just vanished. I am thoroughly frustrated at this point and will schedule with another provider (not CVS).

This pharmacy is great! The staff knows me by name and pulls up my prescriptions before I even get to the counter, and I've seen them treat other people the same way. They're knowledgeable and always happy to explain things or call my doctor if they have any questions. Their delivery is also prompt. I would definitely recommend this store.

Customer service at the pharmacy is non-existent. I had an issue and I was told they were too busy to call my insurance company. There is usually only one cashier and the line is usually long to pick-up a RX. The overall store is very unappealing, it appears dirty and dimly lit.

So This Is Us is a little more utilitarian than other stores I don't use it for my Pharmacy but I do use it for my instant needs such as for getting a USB drive or picking up Fuji instant film they've got your back they are also next door to a Family Dollar between the two of those stores you can find anything that you accidentally forgot

Went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. The cashier was a young white male. There was a line about 6 people long, and the cashier was arguing with each person that came up to the register. After each customer, he would go to the back and do something on the computer and then try to fill the prescription himself, even with 3 other people working alongside him. I could see the other pharmacy techs rolling their eyes at him and one of them even told him that he wasn't supposed to be doing that. I've been to other cvs locations, and this was never an issue. A pickup that should have taken less than 5 minutes, proceeded to take over 20. Strangely enough, this only seems to happen with this particular cashier. I've seen the line at this place move faster without "ROSS" """WORKING""" I would have given this place 3 stars, but keeping such a hindrance around shows poor management skills. The place is clean enough, and others seem to be competent, but I won't come back to the pharmacy unless I'm literally about to die. And then I would probably die because the prescriptions take so long to fill.
