COTTONWOOD began in 1993 vending at quilt, craft and doll house shows. After 18 months with 30 shows, it was time to cut the travel schedule and open a shop. On January 1, 1995, COTTONWOOD opened in the Village Station in Palmyra 18 miles southeast of Charlottesville, VA. In 1999, we became the area's authorized BERNINA dealership and a move into Charlottesville was imminent. We have been located in the Meadowbrook Shopping Centre and have more than quadrupled our size with our expansion late 2019. We offer the full line of BERNINA overlockers, sewing and embroidery machines, longarms as well as software, accessories, classes and an on-site technicians. Additionally, we offer machine mastery classes also.
