The store is nice and well put together, but one of the employees (I’m pretty sure her name was Margret) was hostile towards me for no reason because I didn’t want a coupon. I said no twice and had to explain myself after the third time because I knew I wouldn’t use it. It was such a weird and uncomfortable experience I won’t be going back anytime soon.

I really liked World Market a lot! Although they did not ultimately have what my daughter needed for UVA move-in we were impressed!
Surface parking was nearby and lot clear of debris. Signage is excellent.
The store is not a mega square footage space, but it's large! They don't have WORLD in their name for nothing. They really offer an amazing amount of goods that are eclectic. From furniture, to food, to alcohol. Some much more.
The floor staff was helpful when looking lost. Merchandise was neatly displayed and overall store layout made sense.
I will come back.

Super cool spot!! My wife and I went in just to look and walked out with over 100 dollars in food from around the world!! Staff is very nice and attentive!! Will be back for sure

Such a fun store. Got the best waffle weave bath towels and a milk chocolate bar from Poland. My daughter has not been able to eat chocolate for over 2 years because of COVID. She tried this chocolate and started crying! She was so happy that chocolate actually tastes like chocolate, not burnt bitter chemicals. She took her husband back the next week and got her own chocolate.

I like to go and see what they have even though I don't need anything. Sometimes I find something that I buy but other times I just look around. It's a nice place to spend time.

Bonnie was the rudest employee I’ve ever met. I didn’t know they closed at 6 and she literally kicked me out at 6:02. I had something I wanted to buy and she told me to hurry up. What happened to customer service? You’re getting paid to be there so don’t have an attitude with me. Unacceptable. She wouldn’t even wrap my mug for me. And then she had the audacity to say “would you like me to scrape the price tag off the bottom too?” when I asked her to wrap my mug. Never shopping there again.

I have been shopping at World Market for a couple years now. I never knew when a wonderful place it was until those few years ago and now whenever I go there it's like putting a kid in a toy store. So many unique gifts and household items that you can find in one location. There's also a food, beer and wine section in the back with items not regularly found locally.

This place is dead to me. The staff is unprofessional, unorganized and not nice. The tragedy is it wasn’t always this way. We purchased a rug online received an email that it was ready for pickup. It wasn’t there when we arrived. They weren’t nice about it but told us they would email us if it arrived which is the most low confidence response I’ve ever heard. They cancelled our order with no notice. We checked the website days later and it said they had two in stock. We called they told us they would hold one for us so we show up at the store and the staff member was rude and worked through staff drama in front of us. Long story short we got the rug but with little to no help from the staff.
