“I cannot even begin to describe what an amazing experience I had at this location. Customer service was EXEMPLARY. I walked into the store with the idea that there would be nothing for me in my size to try on. As my partner was trying on clothes I started asking someone I think her name was Britney! (sp?) about their jean sizing. She was so warm and kind. I was so uncomfortable and nervous--as I have not tried to buy jeans in years as I am so hard to fit in jeans being plus sized and having a smaller waist and bigger butt and thighs. She was so patient and knowledgeable and figured out some options in store I could try on! After a couple different pairs we found some that were perfect! And so comfortable. She helped me SO MUCH even just going over what I can look for moving forward with sizing and ordering online! I was there with my partner and his mom and we all left in jeans because of her and the awesome team! They made me feel so special and had no idea what that meant to me as someone who has ALWAYS dreaded trying on clothes ESPECIALLY jeans and bathing suits LOL. My partners mom was nervous to try on more modern jeans and with Britney and my encouragement found such a stylish pair in her correct size (she thought her size was larger and Britney helped find the perfect fit!). While Britney was helping us my partner was being helped by their INCREDIBLE style consultant. They were so helpful and my partner found a perfect pair of jeans with their help. There was another employee who was super sweet and helpful I just can't remember her name. PLEASE GIVE THESE PEOPLE A RAISE OR BONUS OR NEW CAR OR FREE VACATION THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND ON A BUSY SATURDAY!!!! I have not gotten customer service like that in YEARSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE, Finley and company :)”

“While Athleta is still on the pricey side, they do run periodic clearance sales or final sales that make their apparel affordable. I went in today just to look around and was pleasantly surprised to see an extra 30% off clearance sign. A jacket that was originally listed for $178, I ended up getting for $55. It's also nice to see a line that has something for all body types and sizes. They have a girls' line too.”

“Kayla, in the Cville, Va. store went above and beyond normal employee’s standards. I asked about a dress on a mannequin display and she searched all over the store to make sure that it was indeed the last one. Because the mannequin was located up high, I didn’t expect that anyone would be available to take the dress off the display right away. Kayla took the time to make it happen for me- I bought the dress- and was very impressed with her customer service.She’s def a star employee.”

“They solved my suit problem! Very nice personnel and lovely cloths.Yet, Banana Republic is very expensive except for the few days when everything is -40% (on those days I have had harder time getting help). Without this pricing craziness, 5 starts.. The sale makes all previous purchases feel bad. Hence, I might not shop here again due to that. However, I am very happy with my suits and for an urgent need I can recommend.”

“This is a cute boutique and I wish we had more shops like it on the Corner. They primarily carry women's clothing but also have fun trinkets and decor in stock. A lot of their items are UVa/Charlottesville themed -- make great gifts for friends! Some of their items can be a bit pricey, but they do have great sales and a wide selection -- I have come in for formal dresses and for oversized tees. I have found the staff very friendly in my experiences here! When I ask questions they are quick to help, and they always say something nice when you leave the dressing rooms in a new outfit. There are finches in the store like other reviews have said, but I think to say that that is unethical is a misconception. The birds have a cage large enough for them to move and fly about in, it is stocked with toys and food. I have seen staff (maybe the owner) interact with the birds while I am shopping, so they are given attention. I have seen no signs of aggression in my many, MANY moments watching the birds while friends browse the store, meaning they are likely well socialized. Overall I think this is a cute place to stop, especially for students already near the Corner.”

“This small boutique is run by two women who have beautifully curated their store with quality products. I've stopped in for cloth napkins, CBD, candle sticks... It is a great place to go for unique gifts you can't find anywhere else in town. I have had exceptional (knowledgeable and friendly) service each time I've gone in and during the Pandemic they have gone above and beyond to help over text or email. One of the owners even delivered an online order to my doorstep!”
