My wife and I spent many months researching and looking for our new home in the fast-paced Charlottesville housing market. We had done it once before and the most 'painful' part of the process during our first was dealing with the lender...slow to respond, not engaged in the process, and it was riddled with delays even though we came prepared.I knew we had to find a new lender for our 'forever home' purchase because I did not want to relive the last time. We decided to work with C&F Mortgage after having an initial conversation around our goals for our new home...and the entire process was seamless. We worked with Buster Fox to develop a plan and he made sure we understood each step and ask along the way.It was never something I had to worry about during our house hunt.
