Car was fine, but I never got a receipt and I keep getting charged extra E-Toll fees. I’ve called customer service and they said the toll charges should be done now, but I just got another charge today.

When renting the car I was told; "if we are not here when you drop it off just put the keys in the slot". My rental was due at 6:00pm (right at closing) and I arrived right at 6:00pm to find no one there so I dropped the keys as requested. The next day I find my receipt showing a late fee even though the car was dropped off exactly on time. The customer service rep I talked to on the phone was very helpful in fixing the problem but the fact I even had to discover this and take time to fix it is disturbing. To me it shows that this place is not organized or trustworthy. It shouldn't be the job of the customer to have to advocate to avoid a fee when you have followed the exact instructions given. I wouldn't trust any reassurances from them next time.

Excellent service. Fast, professional and friendly. Great choice of vehicles. Good pricing. Easy transaction all around. One of those things that can ruin a vacation, not this store. She's so boss and delivers the goods with a bang. Thank you!!

I’m a fast break and premium member. My cards are all on file even my signature. Even if you have the money on a bank or credit card and show them your balance they won’t rent a car back to you if their system on their own end won’t accept your money. So your rolling the dice on your transportation. They made me walk around town for hours trying to put money on my different cards. After 4 hours and 13 minutes and many miles walked I still haven’t gotten my car back, and all my stuff and groceries were in there. Take my word for it this place isn’t a budget it’s a joke. No customer service other than “were sorry” so if your ready to get terrible service come to this location. Choose enterprise. Negative 5 stars dont waste your money on this location or at budget in general. For your own sake.

One start only because I had to pick at least one. We made reservations with this awful company, they withdrew my money and said everything was set. I get to the location that looked like the furniture had been attacked my animals and knew then that this place was not worth dealing with. I was then informed that even though I had my money withdrawn that because my credit score wasn't a 650 I couldn't rent the car. Um I thought I was renting and not buying it!!! Then told that it could take 10 days to get my money back on my card. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you take someone's money out then at least have someone there with the sense and customer training skills to reach out and let the customer know this before hand OR don't take people's hard earned money until you know they have a well enough credit score to get the vehicle. Also the money you're taking from people you should be able to replace that torn up awful furniture you have for people to sit on. DONT GO HERE THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND THE OFFICE SHOWS WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESS THEY ARE.

This place is a joke. Made a reservation for a 7 person car 5 days in advance. Received a phone call the day before asking whether I still needed the car and answered with a confirmation. The lady told me “okay that’s all I needed to know”. Received another phone call 2 hours (!) before pickup saying that they don’t have a car available and that I could take a 5 person car for the price of the 7 person car. As I was travelling with 6 friends that wasn’t an option. The person told me I could maybe swap the car at another location. He could not help me with finding locations with a 7 person car. Called customer service, they told me they should have a luxury 7 person car at the location I made a reservation at, and they could upgrade my reservation. I agreed. Received another phone call from the location that they really don’t have a 7 person car, also not a luxury one, and that customer service doesn’t know what they have at their location. Also told me that they called the Cville airport location whether they have a 7 person car, which they hadn’t. Called customer service once again explaining the situation, that I was still looking for a 7 person car and that I didn’t want to pick up a nonexistent car again. The person told me that there is a 7 person car at the airport location that I could pick up. When I told him that the location manager told me that they also don’t have availability, he told me there was nothing he could do but cancel the reservation. I rented a car at another company and won’t be returning to Budget.TL;DR: rental company does not honor reservations made days in advance. Cancels 2 hours before pickup.

ZERO ZERO ZERO would be my best rating. Rude - incompetent -- disinterested is probably a fair assessment of the ONE agent that spends more time feeding her kid than listening to my information Made 3 trips there during POSTED office hours - to return a car --- no one - zilch - door locked at 10-11 and noon on a Wensd. On third trip - saw a handwritten sign - instructing me take car to airport (not where I rented it - not where I am familiar with - and not willing to drive and walk into terminal in middle of lunch time Trying to call is worthless. Hold times are in triple digits and automated )semi-app) has limited features. Spend an extra dollar of so and go to a REAL rental agencies with agents that are somewhat helpful. Note IF you go into the office - wear your mask - the furniture is delipidated - looks more like child care center that a place of business. Customer Service 800-352-7900 or 800-2114-6094 or Corporate office 866-379-8090 if you want to stay on hold and listen to elevator music for hours.

I returned a car with an almost full tank of gas, as well as being cleaned thoroughly, and they still pulled out hundreds of dollars fron my bank account and didn't give a reason why, and never responded to emails.

I wish I could give this location 0 starts. My wife and I were I the area for my brother's wedding and got a flat tire that could not be repaired until the following week. Uber doesn't exist so we called this location and got forwarded to corporate. We were told they had an SUV for us and we pre-paid over the phone. We get to the location and the rudest woman on earth proceeds to tell us there is not only no SUV available, but no cars available. I told her what was going on and we would take anything she had and she wouldn't even acknowledge what I was saying. Finally I asked to speak to a manger who was called on the phone. I told the manger the story and she seemed to be interested in helping. She asked if we prepaid and when I said yes she told the rep at the location to give us a car. The local rep opened a drawer and pulled out a key. So a car magically appeared and the woman behind the counter didn't even have to move off her chair to make it happen. After that the representative in the store wouldn't speak to me or answer any questions because clearly she was mad that I was able to get to my brother's wedding. Anyway, long story short never go to this location if you can help it. The customer representative was rude, acted like we were bothering her (by the way there was a small child climbing all over the furniture while we were there, I assume belonging to the rep) and wasn't willing to help at all when we needed it. Avoid at all cost.

I am usually an enterprise customer but I couldnt find the car I needed on enterprise. So I decided, for the first time, to go with budget.I rented a sedan from this budget location and the experience was fine. But after about 3 weeks from returning the car with not a single scratch whatsover, I receive a claim from budget for 800$ that I had damaged the car (the entire front hull is claimed to be destroyed).How can the car have this extensive damage without me not even noticing OR not being pointed out when I returned the car? When I returned the car I had a person checking the inside and outside thoroughly. I wasnt informed of any damages until 3 weeks after I returned the car and the checkup was done at the drop off location. This should no be acceptable that this kind of damage not be pointed out at drop off since the car may have been damaged afterwards or this was a scam by Budget rent a car and Viking billing service.Be careful when renting with budget and ALWAYS take a picture of the car when u return it so you wont be a victim of this “mistake”.Update: After more than a year of this incident budget and viking billing service are still trying to rob me from my money now asking for half the amount that they claimed I owed them before. Beware when dealing with budget rent a car.
