I have never been so embarrassed going to a food bank in my life . After going there more then five times.. today was completely different. Embarrassing people who need help in front of a group of people is not a good way how to represent the community.

I was given a guided tour of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank by a staff member. It was most impressive! Everything was well-organized and thought out. I highly recommend volunteering here, if you wish to put in time in a safe and secure environment during this time of need and fear. It will restore your faith in your country and its people!
