WOW! We had an emergency visit with our cat and they got us in right away. The staff, from the receptionist, tech and doctor, were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Customer service is great. From out of town, and they got us in for urgent care. They called to check on our pup a few days later. If we lived nearby, we would continue seeing them. Our pup seems to be back to normal.

My cat peed herself on the way there. When I arrived, I asked staff for supplies to clean myself, her and her carrier - they lady told me to have a seat and they would get me supplies “once I went back.” I watched as urine dripped from the carrier all over their sitting room, hallway and examine room which no one sanitized. The vet tech gave me dry paper towels. Finally, the vet came in and showed me to the “employee only restroom” where I could wash up.
Finally, my cat got examined for their alignment and when I began asking questions about her health and treatment options and ultimately decided to opt out of laser treatments and injections for a pulled muscle, her attitude turned dark and condescending.
I would save your money for a few reasons:
1) the staff doesn’t care about your or your animals discomfort in being coated in urine
2) the staff doesn’t care about the sanitation of the facility and
3) the vet will push unnecessary treatments and will act rude if you ask questions or attempt to opt out

My dog has become a “regular” here and they give her the star treatment. She can be a very nervous dog, but she is comfortable here now and we are all on a first name basis- I love that! Everyone from the front desks, to the assistants and veterinarians are super professional, competent and friendly. I am very happy to have chosen them as my dogs primary vet and trust them entirely!

The staff is very friendly, as are the vets. They seem to genuinely care about the pets. However, I am giving a 3-star review because of a poor experience with our puppy a few weeks ago. We took her for a 2nd urinalysis because we suspected that her UTI was persistent after the initial antibiotic treatment. While we were there, the building lost power, the machine running the analysis shut off, and they looked at the slide manually under the microscope, said everything was "OK" (they'll call us when the machine finishes the analysis). We didn't hear back from them and we had to call them daily, until they told us the machine did run the test and came back with a negative result. We paid $100 for the test + wellness visit for that appointment. The symptoms didn't go away, so we bought urine strips (for <$10) which clearly showed her UTI was persistent. I am 99% sure their machine either (a) did not actually run the test because of the power going off or (b) gave out a false negative. No refund is being offered.

I am forever grateful for Autumn Trails Veterinary Center. All staff were extremely helpful, sympathetic, and professional. My cat had an emergency happen last night, and my parter and I were thrown for a loop. We have just moved here within the last month, and just adopted our second cat this past weekend. After feeling like everything that could possibly go wrong did, we were able to call Autumn Trails and get in within 10 minutes. They explained everything thoroughly and her surgery went smoothly. Being an anxious pet parent, I have since called a few times with some questions regarding after care that they have answered with reassurance and speed. If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would. I thank all the staff there for everything!

Our Kitty seemed to be in some distress early on a Saturday morning. Autumn Trails, with its 7 day a week schedule was happy to see us. Everyone was professional and compassionate. Luckily it was a UTI that was handled with some antibiotics and pain meds. Our kitty is making a nice recovery now. A great experience for a rough situation.

Autumn Trails took excellent care of my best during and even after his life. And now that I have a new furry friend in my life, I feel safe knowing I can bring him here too. They of course showed my new kitty the same love they showed my old. I will always be thankful for the safe space created within this office's atmosphere and the times they've helped my babies feel so much better in their best and worst moments. The doctors, nurses and desk staff all care so much about you and your pets well being (and wallet). They never treat you like just a customer. I'll always recommend this vet to everyone in Charlottesville.

The staff at Autumn Trails has always been so very pleasant, helpful, and nice to work with. They have taken great care of our dogs for the past several years. Their love of all animals comes through with each visit.
