The atmosphere of this store is just abysmal. I have never experienced such an acute sense of judgment and passive aggression from employees toward the people BUYING THEIR PRODUCT. Between being asked every five minutes if I needed help with anything and being loosely followed around the store in the moments between, it was very clear to me that these women were upset by my presence. I don’t know if it was because I’m young, trans, or both; regardless, it was deeply annoying to be surveilled like a bull in a china shop when I just wanted to look at the damn candles. A word of advice to the staff here: you probably shouldn’t treat your customers like something you found on the bottom of your shoe, especially considering the fact that if they stopped coming to your store you would be out of a job.

I always love shopping at Anthropologie! Such fun clothes! And it always smells amazing in the store! Today, I was shopping for resort wear. While other stores and catalogs do not seem to be stocking this line currently, Anthropologie did not disappoint!! They had many gorgeous colorful warm-weather dresses to choose from!

Horrible experience, came in with money to spend and left without buying anything because of how rude the employees are. Skip this one and head to Charlottesville instead. They know how to treat their customers at that one.

disappointing. wandered the entire store. saw 4 employees. not acknowledged by any of them. not a hello or even eye contact let alone a conversation about items I was picking up and interested in. and I didn't dash in. it had been awhile since I was there last. so I was savoring it.

Honestly terrible experience, staff is extremely rude. My mother and I walked in, we’re latinas and we got absolutely no response from staff. They were not welcoming and completely ignored us when we came in, but as soon as other people came in they were extremely friendly and made sure to help them immediately. Anthropologie it’s 2022, do better!
