They don't have prices set, because when they charge you, they charge very dearly.Appalling

Bad, it is illegal for them not to have the products marked with their prices. What would happen if you visited them? Consumer protection?

This shop has an amazing selection, a great to-go restaurant, and a Mexican butcher shop all on site. They are accommodating whether you speak Spanish or not, and the staff is always friendly. We go for spices, produce, and the chorizo is fantastic! They also have a wonderful selection of pastries like pan dulce. This place is worth the visit for anyone who lives to eat or cook great food.

This bodega is amazing and has all your traditional and multi-use Spanish cookings needs as well as bakery and deli. The staff are super friendly here and I just love the store. This was my first visit to a bodega after finding out I have Hispanic heritage and wanting to learn my culture more. The store is well organized, clean, and alot to offer. Plenty of parking, it is right beside/behind crutchfield on 29 north.

Best kept secret in Charlottesville. $14.75 for everything pictured, two tortillas, and a drink. Seriously, it’s a lot of food and very salty. Perhaps they could cut back on the salt.I’ve been going to this place for years and while the prices have gone up since the pandemic it’s still bar none some of the best hispanic food in Charlottesville. I come here when I’m close and I can’t decide what to eat.Not only what’s in the buffet but they have soup, tortas (sandwiches), and of course pupusas (tortilla filled with stuffings). After Cactus left from Fifth street extended they have the best.I don’t know what the lady is complaining about in terms of sanitation. This is not an upscale shop, with clean and uber sanitised surfaces. It’s all a jumble and with little space but that’s the charm. They took out the seating but hopefully it will be back. The only reason it’s not more well known is because it’s hidden away in the back of a minimarket.Come here if you want a healthy portion of actual hispanic food, not some cleaned up half imitation of what Americans want the food to be.

DIRTY! The store and restaurant area are so dirty and greasy. Workers who serve the buffet DONT wear gloves sometimes besides one of the workers was rubbing her nose while serving food YUCK! Food too salty and cheap quality, in other words very unhealthy! WATCH OUT with the pastries. They are a bed of flies. Where is the Health Department?

Absolutely love this market. My wife and I love their pupusas and everything else in their deli for that matter.

Interesting food store with lots of pastries. Hard to tell prices on items since most things aren't labeled.
