Very rude customer service, every time we go in there, it feels like Mary at the front desk has an attitude. I can understand having a bad day or not liking your job, but talking down and rudely to customers is unacceptable.

I had an excellent experience at America's Best in Charlottesville. The process of getting an eye exam was very smooth and seamless. My only disappointment was that I did receive my eyeglasses prescription, but they did not give me my contact lens prescription. I did understand why, but would still have appreciated having it in my hand. I also give four (4) stars because they did not have my contacts in stock and there was no option for express shipping. I didn't mind the contacts not being in stock because they were specialties, but would have appreciated express shipping.

Everyone was super nice and welcoming. She even helped me pick out a pair of glasses cause I was indecisive. I would def recommend to anyone and the process was extremely easy ❕

Phenomenal experience! My needs walking into the store were special, and Ms. Tanya and Ms. Mary absolutely astonished me with what they did to help me meet my needs. I left not only with my needs met, but with a little more faith in people. :)

I won't go back. The first time I went, almost three years ago, I got an incorrect prescription, which when I told the optometrist that the new glasses were not right, she told me I only needed to adjust to them. I spent nearly a thousand dollars in lenses I could not use. When I got a new (correct) prescription from the same optometrist a year later (after my insurance kicked in again) and confirmed the problem with the lenses was an incorrect prescription rather than my ability to adapt to them, America's Best would not replace the original lenses--I had to buy all new. I went back to them again this year because I felt it was safer to return to the same place now that the prescription was correct, to discover they are using a different, remote optometrist. They ask you to sign a form accepting remote services, but they don't explain what that means. If you are not paying careful attention you won't know what you are getting into. When I discovered the prescription of this new remote optometrist was different from the previous, I asked to speak to the optometrist about it, and they told me I would need to come in for a subsequent appointment with an on-site optometrist, as it was not possible/policy to speak with the remote optometrist over the phone. This place is not customer-friendly or responsible for/accountable to their quality of services.

I did have out of network 40% coverage for my exam and I am not happy with not finding out about the insurance issue until after I came out. March vision is reaching out to that office, but I think this charge should be written off.Other than that the Dr was great.

I only gave one star so I could do a review They don’t deserve a rating. I went to them couple months ago and I was told didn’t need progressive lenses, though I was currently wearing them in different glasses. Picked out 2 frames and went on and started having problems right away. Called told them what was going on and they told me come back for another exam but you will have to pay for it. I said no and went somewhere else. Got my eyes examined and guess what I NEED PROGRESSIVE LENSES!!!!! Found out my frames aren’t big enough or strong enough for those type lenses, and the lenses that cracked was forced into the frame. My lenses for my glasses were different prescriptions. I want my money back, I know won’t happen but it be nice. Sad part they never took time to listen to me what was going on, even with the crack lense. They didn’t even look at it. They ignored me and tossed me to the side. That’s bad customer service. Please none go there. Honestly they should hire people who care about their thier customers. I have new glasses on the way and can’t wait but have 2 brand new frames can’t use. Hoping I can find someone who can use them.

I’ve been coming here for years . This trip especially Tanya was very helpful. Everyone there was friendly and made my visit pleasant. Definitely my place for eye exam and glasses.

This visit was much quicker than usual, even with a full glasses/contacts exam and ordering new glasses and contacts. The staff was friendly and helped work through getting insurance info sorted after a brief hiccup. Thank you.

The staff were so friendly, professional, and pleasant. They explained everything as they were doing it. I enjoyed being a patient there. Would recommend this America's Best to anyone needing eye health care.

Mary was awesome today..She explained everything in full detail about the process of me getting my lenses… I was very pleased with the customer service and I came in for one pair left with two…You definitely got to pay for designer but prices are reasonable and they have lots of glasses that you can choose from… Thanks Mary for the wonderful help today…

Updated: Finally got my glasses and the manager did a wonderful job and offered a great services on trying adjusting the nosepads patiently and kindly.Not recommend and very disappointed. The lens of my glasses are scratched twice by the staff who was adjusting the nose pads, I mean twice... If you have any empathy or patience to a customer, you would ask and be more careful when you were adjusting the nose pads. I am sorry that I have a flat nose that is very different from most other customers. But it is not a punishment because I asked for nose pads adjustment. And no apology from the damages made by staff. I have to beg for time off and come back again... i won't come back after getting the new pair.I would say their staff Shannon is amazing. Their price is always fair. I got the more expensive one (almost $300 a pair) this time so I feel more disappointed that they scratched the lens twice. I bought from them twice before and no issue with the lens and customer services.
