The clothes are beautifully made and they work with you to make sure the fit is right. They are not cheap, but compared to off the rack brands of comparable quality, the prices are competitive. There is a wide selection of beautiful fabrics and the customer service is first rate.

Really poor experience. They sell hard but don't deliver. Ordered a suit in June for an event in Sep. Over $2300 with an 8-week lead time. 8 weeks later - no communication, so I started leaving messages. 12 weeks later - still no word. Suit never arrived. Ultimately bought a suit from Brooks Bros 1 week before the event. Less than $1100 for their top line and turned around in 5 days. Never heard from the Charlottesville Alton Lane again.Suit finally arrived 3 weeks later (wrinkled and stuffed in a box). Very poorly fitted, both jacket and pants. I tried taking it to my tailor to see if it could be salvaged - no luck. Overall, just a sloppy suit. Finally got Alton customer service and requested a refund for a month - no success. Got the amount I paid for the Brooks Bros suit refunded, but still $1200 wasted. Finally gave up trying to get a full refund - took the Alton Lane's suit to Goodwill - hopefully someone can benefit.My recommendation - save your time and money - there are better/cheaper alternatives. I was pleased with Brooks Bros. If you really need custom-made, go elsewhere.

From the moment you arrive at Alton Lane you feel like a VIP. From the entrance to the greeting you are made to feel like you are special. Benjiman and Katy did such a fantastic job of helping us purchase suits for my daughter's wedding. This was not just shopping for suit but rather an experience with two wonderful professionals. They both knew so much about selections and offered many helpful ideas. The was, by far, the best experience I have ever had in buying a great suit. I will definitely come back!

Vincent and Benjamin are absolutely the best team with the best product. Upon first meeting them I knew I was in good hands. They made the suit styling, fitting, and purchase a breeze. Not only did they provide a professional product, they added a personal flair to the experience by checking in often before the wedding date making sure I was doing well and was happy with the suit. As for the final product, this is the best suit I have ever worn. Fabric is perfect, fit is perfect, everything about it was....perfect. I would recommend this shop to any professional looking for a solid suit for any occasion.
