Mike and his team were exceptional. Our project was anything but easy. They did major renovation and reconfiguration of three bathrooms, replaced the floors in the whole house, took on many small projects associated with the bigger ones, did a full kitchen renovation, tons of painting and lighting work, and replaced and refinished the stairs in our house. They were totally professional, took great care of our home and property during the process, and delivered an outcome that makes us happy every time we come home. Mike the owner is 100% reliable and responsible. I am a property manager and cannot say how many times I am called at the last minute for repairs. We searched high and low for someone to work with for a full kitchen remodel...and Mike and The Model Home Look were referred to us through someone else in our neighborhood.The first time we met Mike, he was professional and listened to us when we explained to him with regards to what we were looking for and what our tastes are. Mike was very timely and was able to come back to us with a redesign that we really liked, especially with the limited space we had to work with. Not only did we like the design, but we also loved the custom made cabinets that he is a dealer of out of PA. These cabinets are top notch and we couldn't find another remodeling company that could provide us with the same quality and customization for the price we got quoted by Mike.Mike's remodeling team led by Gilmore was top notch, they completed the full demo in 1 day and got the entire project completed within 4 weeks from start to finish. I'd like to add, this all took place last summer during the middle of the pandemic!We have been loving the end results of the project and are beyond happy that we selected Mike and the Model Home Look for this project.One recommendation I'd make, is to do your research on the materials allowances up front. Know what you want and price it out...if you end up going over, it isn't an issue, you just pay the difference, this happened to us when we chose to upgrade things. But if you are under on a specific item, you don't get the underrun back or reallocated to an overrun. The team noted that it would be an accounting nightmare to track it, which it is not...it's a simple spreadsheet and if one can track an overrun and charge you for it, the underruns can easily be tracked and reapplied to overruns. I'd rather be over and pay the difference rather than be under and have the money be lost. For us as a hard working family, every dollar matters especially when taking on a project like this.

We are so happy we chose The Model Home Look to remodel our laundry room, it is everything and more than we could have hoped for. Mike and Kristine were easy to work with and took care of every aspect. We should have done this years ago!

The bathroom remodel looked great but couldn't move a tenant in as they weren't finished when they said they would. Fast forward to early this year when the bath drain started leaking and flooding the basement/garage. Spoke to Mike and he assured me he would call me back real soon to have someone look at it. Long story short, he never called me back, I tried to call him several times and spoke to his office manager who assured me he was getting my messages. So lesson learned, don't pay until the work is done. Never using him again. All I needed was a call back saying he was too busy to look at it. I didn't expect to get it for free, but I had to get the work done by another plumber.Services: Remodelling

I had a remodel done by them 5 years ago. The remodel went well but I remember how long it took for the to finish and I had people moving in. Fast forward 5 years, the remodel included plumbing with started leaking under the garage. I talked to Mike once and he said he would call me back, which he never did. Placed numerous follow up calls to his office with the same results. I told him that I would pay for the work but he didn't call back. Paid for the $3000 repairs to another plumber who corrected the bad plumbing his crew put it 5 years ago. They fixed the problem in about 2 days. So, I will never use him again.

We used The Model Home Look for our master bathroom renovation and house painting in Oct. 2018. We are very happy with the results and love the new bathroom! They even had an idea to expand the master closet using some previously unused space. Seven months later, we decided to sell the house and it was under contract in less than 36 hours, at more than our asking price. This was in great part due to the excellent work Mike and his team did during the renovation.

We asked Mike to completely remodel our Master Bath and upstairs Hall Bath. He also did some remodeling of our laundry room. Mike and Kristine (project manager) and the entire crew were very pleasant to work with, as were all of the vendors he recommended to help us make our selections (tile, plumbing fixtures). I greatly appreciated that when things did not go exactly right (and you have to expect that in construction), or if Mike himself noticed things that were not up to his own standards, he was very willing and insistent on making things right. The project timeline ended up being much longer than we all had planned but the end results are really beautiful! We hope to use The Model Home Look for future projects.
