We visited the store this past Sunday. Very impressed with the cleanliness and nice environment for people and birds to interact to explore before buying. Very nice staff that all engaged us answering questions and was attentive to let us explore but be there if needed. If we are ever in the market for another bird will purchase one from here.

Please do not buy any birds from here. Do not board your birds here. The bird I bought from them tested positive for avian bornavirus, which is deadly and contagious. It is highly likely that at least several other birds at TF Feathers are also infected. There is another review from an owner whose baby bird ended up dying from avian bornavirus.
Long story: I recently bought a macaw from them. He was vomiting but I was told that he “viewed me as his mate”, although he is only 10 months old and years away from forming a pair bond. Tina actively discouraged me from taking him to the vet as he was perfectly healthy and the vet would stress him out. I took him to the vet anyways. Vet took blood samples. Next morning, he could not stop vomiting. I took him to the vet again. He was prescribed 4 medications. He has since stopped eating solid food so now I have to handfeed him. He is positive for avian bornavirus. This disease is fatal.

Tammy is very responsive and friendly. I put a deposit down, and honestly visit half the time just to see all the birds that are out and about. Best aviary I've been to in VA much cleaner than the others and no smell.

Great place for any bird lover. They have a wide selection of birds, toys, food, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable and the love what they do. Best bird shop in NOVA

The staff is so friendly and I highly recommend their boarding services. I will continue driving the 4 hour roundtrip to bring my two birds for boarding!

Best aviary in the area hands down. They have a large bird room that is worth going to check out (if you're okay with squawking ?) the birds are all hand tame and used to people. Purchased a lifelong companion here and she's just great!

I love coming to this place! They always have a cat or two hanging around, a wide variety of toys and foods for birds and a wide variety of birds and personalities!! For how dirty birds can be this place is actually really well kept. And the people that work here are always nice and patient!
