I got my hair done with the owner twice! She was Good! Prices are expensive! I guess it everywhere My hair type is very average and very thin so I just prefer going to Bubbles. They are comparatively cheaper

I went for a haircut yesterday and Stella gave me the best head massage and she did a great job making sure my hair was well washed. Thank you Stella for taking care of me! As always Jay is the best! Chris and I love our haircuts. Thank you both again!

Jay has moved to New Image Salon! She has been cutting and highlighting my hair for years. I moved to Bowie, Maryland 7 years ago and I still travel to wherever she is for all my hair needs! She is the best in the business and keeps all her clients close to her heart. Tell your friends to make an appt with her.......they will thank you!

My mom and I have went to Nami for years, back when she worked at another salon in Centreville. When she moved to New Image located off of route 50 right next to the Lowes, we decided to follow her. She's is the sweetest person ever and truly takes her time when cutting/styling your hair. She works hard and doesn't waste any time. She's quick on days when I'm in a rush and has given me her personal cell number for when I need to make a last minute appointment. I'll go to her just so she can wash, blowdry, and straighten my hair. It makes my life TEN times easier and gives me some "me" time and much needed relaxation. I dread doing my hair because it's thick and consumes so much of my time but she makes it fun when I feel like pampering myself. Her prices are reasonable and cheaper than most fancy high end places. My only advice is since it's located in a strip/shopping center, it doesn't look like much. It doesn't really catch your eye from the parking lot and the decor/salon itself is outdated. It could use some updating.

I have been coming to new image since moving to VA. I have short, thick hair and was looking for someone to keep up with my cut. Nami is highly recommended. She's very detailed and I love the way she cuts my hair. Reasonably priced, cc payments has a small added percentage but it's fine. If you're picky with the way your hair is cut, give Nami a try. I have not been disappointed yet and I doubt I ever will be. No upselling at this salon. They don't try to sell you services and products. She just listens to your request/preference. Scheduling with Nami is easy. I text check on availability and most of the time she was able to get me in the same day.

I can't believe I didn't find this awesome place until this week. One of the stylists at Great Clips messed up my daughter's long hair (couldn't get basic curtain bangs or longer layers done) so frantically started looking for a new salon when we came across the reviews of New Image Salon on Yelp. We were able to get appointments right away. Nicole did an awesome job of fixing the cut and the final result was AMAZING. I scheduled my haircut with Nami and she was absolutely wonderful too. Totally impressive job. The environment is clean and staff are very cordial. Thank you

I really love going to Nichole. I came for a hair coloring that I love, and she also fixed a botched haircut that I had. Her prices are competitive which I also appreciate. I've been happily going to her now exclusively.

Naomi was a very pleasant woman she gave me, my son and husband a haircut and they turned out wonderful. Her haircuts are like a work of art and the prices are not bad either.Please check out this location off metrotech drive close to the Pet Smart.

I've been getting my hair cut by Nami for 15 years. I had my first hair cut since February and am sorry I waited so long since they do SO MUCH to make it a safe experience. Hand sanitizer twice on entry, they wear masks & face shields, plastic between every salon station, etc. Thank you for investing in so many health and safety protections! After 4 years of avoiding haircuts I decided today that it was time to face my fears. Walked in after work and was greeted by Nami. Thankfully, she had an opening. I told her my concerns and she sat me in her chair right away. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nami was sweet and professional the entire time and my hair came out exactly the way I wanted it. Ill definitely be making appointments with her in the future. Thank you Nami!!
