Dr. Keith Schmidt is awesome. I had an eye infection and he was really great in treating it and the infection subsided.

This location is terrible.They messed up ordering my glasses then never contacted me for 6 weeks. I had called them, with them tell me they would call back. Guess what? They never called back. This is the most unorganized location I have probably been to.EDIT: I tried contacting the number below several times. (Also via the VM that was left with extension)It would ring and then got hung up on. Very professional way of handling the situation….NOT.

This place is incompetent. First eye appointment on 7/19. Just went to pick up the third attempt at getting it right and they still can't make it happen. Manager is nice enough but large delays and mistakes in the prescription make it unusable. Manager started blaming me towards the end. I just took that last failed attempt and am now looking for another company to work with. Horrible. Please don't go.

I had pair of glasses from MY Eye Doctor (Reston Store) about a month before. First I never liked the quality of the glasses. Just a few weeks after; I lost one nose-pad from the glasses. Today I took these glasses back to My Eye Doctor (Chantilly) store. It took exactly 37 minutes with no success. Lady over the counter; told me she was not able to find the right screw? She dropped me and took another customer. I was about to leave; then another lady found the screw and took care of me. I will not go to this particular store again.

I came in to get a replacement for glasses I've had for way too long and had the luck to work with Stephen. He's was professional, friendly, and understanding. Couldn't ask for a better person to work with.

Expect to wait no less than one hour to be seen by the eye doctor. I walked out of the first appointment. I just could not wait any longer. On the second appointment I was just about to walk out after one hour. An employee stopped me and said I was next in line. I should have walked away. I waited two weeks for glasses. Usually when I pick up glasses for the first time a company will sit down with you and make sure your glasses fit properly. Then they ask you to read something to test the prescription. Not at this place. The glasses did not fit correctly. I was assured the prescription was correct, but I couldn't read anything out of the bottom half of my glasses. Lucky me. I now have a third appointment scheduled. I just want to be able to walk away and go somewhere else, but the got my money now.

Ordered sunglasses with prescription. they said 2 weeks to be ready. After week 2 they said the frame was back order therefore not available. They said another week to wait. After week 3 they said the lab made a mistake with the lenses ...more time to wait. My sunglasses were ready after 4 weeks....4 weeks for a pair of sunglasses. The staff was not helpful at all and they were all the times very evasive. Ridiculous. One of the worst purchasing experiences of my life.

the doctor was nice .i waited a whole hour just to take the exam. they do not care about you and your time or life. the people at the front desk give shameful humiliating stares. They also charged my mom 100 dollars for something they never discussed. these people think they’re sneaky and smart secretly charging people, but they definitely aren’t smart. I’m not excited to go back

My sister is on her way back from the appointment she never experienced because they had her wait an HOUR. After waiting this long she decided to leave. The staff at MyEyeDr is always nice and welcoming, however, my sister specifically requested that I leave a 1-star review due to her time being wasted.

Appointment time was at 11am and 11:20. We got there 5mins early. Did paperwork - people out in reception area were great. We didn’t get seen til 12:20p. The new dr focused more on my medical history than she did on my eyes. Literally 25 mins on medical history and maximum 5mins on my eye exam. And she was argumentative about a retinal photo i was never offered- when i told her i am very light sensitive- she didnt care. I got home with a headache as well. We finally finished by 1pm. My daughter was late for her internship.

I went in for my glasses exam and Dr. Nicole Nguyen was very nice and knowledgeable. However, I was unaware that they conducted both contact and glasses exams when I just wanted glasses. When I went to pick-up my glasses, the receptionists at the counter were quite rude and dismissive. Overall, the Doctor was very professional, but the staff were not. Will not be coming back. Thanks!

One of the best places I have been to get my eyes checked. Multiple nice doctors and awesome front desk staff! I loved the service and treatment here! Highly recommend the Chantilly location for all your needs!

My wife went to this location to get her new glasses. The doctor was great and made the right prescription. The staff however made things difficult. The staff was so focused on her wearing a mask that it affected the fitment of her glasses. She had to come back to the store to get refitted. The staff wouldn't let her take off her mask to get the proper fitment of her glasses. The mask however was greatly affecting the fitment of her glasses so that she had to hold them up to see clearly. Whenever my wife would try to show them the problem and take her mask down they got rude. I hope that businesses like this can exercise common sense and make their work customer focused instead of worrying about "mandates".

Felt rushed through the contact fitting process (which I paid $130 out of pocket for because it was an additional charge on top of the normal eye exam price) and was given a new brand of contacts because they didn't have my old brand in stock as a trial lens. New brand proved uncomfortable after only a few hours of use. Had to call and fight for a rescheduled appointment at a different location--hopefully this doctor is more receptive to my needs.

The eye appointment went fine, but the eye glasses that they gave to me were not the ones I ordered. When you go through ordering, there's a lot of specifications about what you want, materials, finishes, etc. Both times the glasses that they delivered to me were not to specifications requested and both times they acted like it was somehow my fault that their lab couldn't follow instructions. The first time they didn't finish the edges on the glasses, so that they were sharp on the sides. The second time, apparently to ensure that this couldn't be claimed, they beveled the sides to the point that half of the sides are beveled, causing major distortions in the peripheral vision and giving me massive headaches if I try to wear them. They continued to gas light me about how I just needed to try the glasses, and get used to them. They also told me they'll only re-do the glasses once, even though their lab is the one that couldn't get the order right. And the poor sales guy, who was polite except for the gas lighting, seemed completely at a loss for how to make the lab do a proper job. It's not like the glasses arrived and I decided I didn't like the frames and tried to make them exchange them for some frivolous or cosmetic reason. The glasses are not usable. I finally gave up trying to get them to fix their mistakes. Don't waste your time or money. I spent months trying to get these fixed and in the end never got wearable glasses or my money back. Absolutely terrible.
