I brought my bike(1998 honda shadow aero) in after an accident (front brake lock up) and at the recommendation of a Loudoun motorcycle facebook group, went to brooks to have the necessary repairs done to the bike. The accident was all the way back in may when it was dropped off during peak riding season which that just puts the handover date months away already given the volume of work he has.
It has taken quite some time and while I will say that Jason has kept me in the loop whenever I'd swing by to see where we are with the bike, we did hit a little bump in the road when it came to handing it over, I was notified on Friday august 16th the bike was ready and after picking it up, came to find out the front brakes were never replaced as requested (this has since been discussed and has been resolved) and only the rears were replaced.
When I notified the shop and brought it to their attention (after it was towed back to the shop on Friday), Jason took care of the situation the next day (august 17th) in a manner that both parties were satisfied with (as mentioned above).
Would I recommend him? If it came down to certain parts of the motorcycle that I wouldn't be able to do in my garage then yes, especially if it wasn't a punch list of tasks as this bike is (which I'm hoping is the most this bike will need for a while).”
