As a first time home buyer, I honestly had no idea in terms of what to expect with the home buying process and was a little worried. I’d previously heard many stories from friends or relatives about experiences about fighting with mortgage companies who were non responsive or dealing with representatives who weren’t transparent in terms of disclosing financial information and other stressful situations. This was DEFINITELY NOT my experience with working with Evan Kay at Freedom Bank Mortgage. I’d like to thank Evan Kay for the exceptional service and support throughout my home buying process. I can’t thank you enough for your transparency, status updates and continued efforts of correspondence which made me feel secure and comfortable throughout this process. I highly recommend Freedom Bank Mortgage and would definitely work with them again!

Freedom Bank Mortgage and Evan Kay, the mortgage loan officer that we worked with, did a phenomenal job in helping us realize and execute on our home-buying goal. They are quick, efficient, and thorough and offer lower fees than the many competing lenders that I shopped around for. We budgeted one month to get to closing from the time we had a ratified contract. Freedom Bank Mortgage beat that deadline, and then some. From the date of our first outreach to them, we were in a position to close with all approvals in-hand in a little over two weeks. As a local Virginia bank they are invested in the success of the local residents and local community. That certainly showed in the dedicated service they rendered compared to the national shops where interactions feel so commoditized.Evan Kay is the best in the business. He is the epitome of knowledgeable, professional, and customer-service oriented. Always available to communicate any hour of the day from early morning to late evening, and accessible to correspond by all means - text, phone, email. The ease of communication during such a critical and stressful time is invaluable. But the true sign of Evan's customer-driven approach is a very acute, very sharp sense of listening. He thoroughly answers all of your questions, however minute, and leaves no stone unturned in fielding the many requests that you have for him. As first time homebuyers, having that dedicated service working with and for you eased many jitters and made the process very smooth in this crazy market. Highly, highly recommend Freedom Bank Mortgage and particularly Evan Kay for anyone looking for a terrific experience with a housing lender.

Charlie Hutchison is knowledgeable best loan officer that I ever experienced. He helped me through process of purchasing a condo within TWO WEEKS prior to closing. He worked very hard even after hours to make sure all required documents are updated. I can not thank him enough for his hard work, without him I wouldn't be able to go through the process on time.
