Not the employees fault, but Costco policies.
No matter when I come to the tire center, count on a 1 hour wait time before you get your paperwork for service.
Regardless if you purchase beforehand on line, if you make an appointment, etc.
there is always ONE person taking care of the crowds. The phone is ringing off the hook, it’s crazy.
I got new tires last week, now I am in for the follow up, plus the air pressure keeps coming on. It should take 5 minutes once I am through this crazy line.
Why don’t you cross train some people? Hilfe a second line for battery purchases, quick things?
I was here 15 minutes before opening hours. 5 people in front of me, it is so disappointing to say the least and I think Costco can do better.
The person still has no time to pick up the phone. It’s ringin off the hook.

Less than 2 hours wait. Quick and efficient workers. Less 1 star because they always put you on hold and never answer. They should have a proper receptionist just to answer the calls because of too much traffic in this location.

Customer service has degraded at their Tire Center. After 4 tires and 1 sensor replaced, I had to take my car 2 times the same day to have my tire pressure sign checked. The sign is back on, on my 2nd day and after getting it checked the 3rd time, sign is back on, on my way home. They asked me to schedule an appointment to replace the remaining 3 sensors (which they already mentioned in the note that all 4 sensors worked fine in the test). It’s been 25+ mins waiting on the phone line to schedule for sensors replacement and I had to hang up. What happened to Costco customer service??

Great pricing terrible service. Phones are continuously ringing in the background. Unattended counters.

All the ingredients were present for a terrible experience when a new tech torqued the stud right off of my car during a tire rotation. Costco Tire made it right, offering to make sure we had a way to get around without having to deal with any insurance companies and getting our car fixed quickly and correctly. Management spoke to us repeatedly while they were getting the repair sorted. It was clearly something that they don't deal with regularly, but they were professional and courteous throughout the process.

We love everything about Costco, except for this morning, a Chantilly Costco customer service member at the Tires Department was so suddenly rude in answering the phone, I had to snap back at her to stop her from her mental breakdown. She needs to be moved to another department where no customer service is needed.

I've been here once before, both visits were for purchasing car batteries. I usually have the information for the battery I need, but I still give them the information and validate they gave the correct battery.
I haven't had any auto work completed here, so I can't really speak to that. But from waiting in line, it seems like making appointments are advisable versus walking in. The wait times still seem to be roughly the same, 1-1.5 hour for the work, whether changing tires or rotating tires. They have decent prices on the tires and offer free tire nitrogen top off, which is most likely why it is always so busy.
The customer service is quick and seamless. They ask for membership, work required, car information and then payment. Any delay would be with not having or being able to pull up the car information.

An abysmal experience that ruined a 20 year relationship with Costco. Long time Costco supporter, credit card holder, etc. so we thought we'd get tires for our new, leased ID.4; a mistake incoming. Service was fine, if ridiculously busy. When we picked up the car, all 4 wheels had been damaged by their equipment and we filed a claim. After several months of ignored calls and the run-around from the claims department, the claim was denied. Brand new car, new wheels that they damaged and refused responsibility for. Regardless of the perceived discount, Costco tire center should be ashamed and so should the corporate office. Unprofessional local management, claims service and a large expense that wipes out decades of 'savings' through the brand. Take your business elsewhere.

They are very understaffed. I called them multiple times but the success rate is less than 50%. They put me on hold for more than 20 min until I had to give up.

Great tire installation, but customer experience is none existent. If you call you'll be waiting 15-20 mins just to ask "what the walk in hours are". And if you go in person for the same thing they will make you wait in line to ask a question. Lines are usually over an hour wait.

We purchased tires online and then dropped our car off for the installation--it was a great experience. As they say, devil works hard but darn it if Alyssa don't work harder.

The folks at Costco Tire Center (CTC), in my opinion, don't get enough credit. Imagine a daily 8-10 hour job where you are constantly bombarded with pretentious customer who set unrealistic requirements, and generally only come in when there is a problem with their vehicle (that they knew all along) but were somehow hoping would simply disappear. For the employees to keep their composure, remain professional, and handle all that in a public setting is a skill that I'm afraid I would never be able to attain, so my hats off to you folks.First and foremost, most folks defer or ignore tire, suspension, and general car maintenance (wheel alignment, tire balance, scheduled, & preventative maintenance). The roads in NOVA are poor at best - riddled with construction, pot holes, and general construction debris. Accidents occur on a daily basis and traffic is one of the worst in the nation. Couple all of that together, and one may begin to understand why tires are crucial for a safe driving experience for you and those around you.Tire maintenance is one key area where one shouldn't cut corners or deviate from factory recommendations. Insisting that an incorrect tire be installed regardless or a patch be performed that's unsafe isn't doing anyone any favors in the long run. Deviating from recommendation in favor of cost or a simple argument as a less than reputable place did it before, is a losing proposition.I respect the fact that CTC is above board, sticks with proven procedures, and doesn't deviate to shady practices. Yes, there is a wait (always), and the news may be unpleasant & costly, but so is a car wreck. Do yourself a favor, don't argue, and follow their advice. No other place offers such competitive pricing, free maintenance, with such a professional staff.

I had two of my tires replaced by them a couple. It was satisfactory. Then I got a flat late at night and brought my car in the next day. I was then told that that I needed to get new rims online. I was carless. The guy who fixed my rims told me he couldn’t place the tire on because it was ripped. I made an appointment for 3:30 today several days later. I am still here. It is almost four hours. My car hasn’t been touched.
