Update 2024: the price has increased crazily, like a fecal test or a wellness visit took me $90+ a few months ago and just a few months later it's $103 or $105. The staff are not as friendly as before especially for today's visit. It's such a disappointment given that we insisted on using CAH for both of my lovely cats even after we moved out of this area, which takes us 30mins+ drive from our new place), but now I think it's time to change.
Note: I hope all my appointments can be taken by Dr Tohill who I think is the best.

I’ve been going to this vet ever since I got my first dog almost 15 years ago. The staff here are so nice and compassionate. I’ve felt comfortable voicing my concerns and have never felt pressured to make any decisions I didn’t think were necessary. My dog has had about 4 surgeries in his lifetime here and they were all great experiences with very skilled doctors. The place is clean and every appointment goes by quickly and smoothly.
I would like to add that sadly my dog never had insurance (get it if you can, the earlier the better) but the prices were affordable and fair.

I love the Drs at this vet. But don’t expect your pet to be seen same day pretty much ever. Called at 8 am Thursday - first available is Monday? My pet is now going to suffer with an ear infection for 4.5 days. Very disappointing!

Great veterinarians, but it's impossible to get your dog in for a sick visit. My 8 year old dog , who has been a patient since she was a puppy, had an issue with her ears, and the earliest appointment we could get was 10 days from the date I called.

Very happy with them. They’ve taken care of our dogs, past and present. Helped with situations other veterinary practices screwed up. My dogs are comfortable there and are treated very well. While they recognize when we arrive, they will be examined or vaccinated or groomed, which they don’t love—their demeanor is comfortable with all providers, from front desk to doctors.
That speaks volumes to me.
Also, I had booked my little rat terrier for a nail clip under sedation, because he stopped allowing the groomer to do so, and was reluctant with me attempting.
They were able to do so without sedation which is costly and what we reserved. So, I believe they are not money driven. They do what’s best for all involved.

We were hopeful going to this practice but alas had multiple red flags that we aren't willing to ignore anymore.
Our first appointment with them, we get a call a few hours before we are scheduled to go in. They say they switched admin systems and they are overbooked so we are getting pushed and have to reschedule. I ask whether we can reup my dog's very basic heartworm medication before the rescheduled time we were offered since we would run out in the interim, and they say no, he has to come in.
We have our rescheduled appointment and that experience was fine, honestly we were excited and at the end. The vet told us we would receive two quotes for procedures by Monday at the latest. Great, we were feeling good.
Monday rolls around, nothing. By the end of the week, I call and the receptionist tells me no quotes were ever even put into the system. She puts them in and says they are marked as urgent so we will get it before they close that day... We did not.
We did eventually get one of the two quotes requested via email. We call to ask about the other quote and the receptionist says she sees both quotes on her end and tells us the costs. The cost she says for one of the procedures doesn't even match the written quote we had received. No explanation as to why that would be.
I politely express my concern that we are now repeatedly having issues and suggest that maybe something is wrong with how we are in their system. No response from the receptionist, not even an acknowledgment of what I said, and definitely no apology.
She then goes on to tell us some "facts" of the medical procedure, and a basic google search showed us she was wrong.
Eventually we do receive the two quotes via email and... they have our dog's weight wrong in the quote, so it's probably not even an accurate estimate.
In short, our experience did not inspire confidence in this practice and we won't continue with them or recommend them unfortunately. Disappointed as clearly others have had a different experience, but not willing to risk another oopsie moment from them when it comes to our dog.

Dr Tohill is amazing. Great staff! It’s great to find a place that cares about your animals as much as you do. Thanks everyone.

This practice cares about one thing only: money. Their greed has cost my dog and our family severely. Pressuring us into giving in so they could give my not even one year old puppy vaccines he did not even need. They were lazily and gave him three different vaccines all at once. Practically sent his little body into shock. Why? So they could make a quick buck. It caused him to drop to the floor within an hour and have seizures. He’s had them nonstop since. The worst part? They didn’t even have the decency to apologize or take responsibility for it. Yet the staff at every single emergency vet, animal hospital, neurological specialist (human and animal) I have went to since has all hinted at the very same conclusion: it is Chantilly Animal Hospitals fault. My dog will have his life span shortened becomes of this. He could very well die from a seizure at any moment. He now has to be on expensive seizure medications and go through constant routine testing to ensure his organs aren’t being damaged by the very medication he needs. Seizure medication is so strong it basically kills them overtime by weakening and damaging their organs. Also there’s a 33% chance some dogs won’t even be helped by the seizure medication (according to vets and neurologist I have spoken to). My one year old and nine month innocent puppy has turned out to be in that 33%. The medication is failing us and his seizures are getting increasingly worse. Why? Because the Chantilly Animal Hospital cares more about making a quick dollar than they do about the lives of their patients, their families, or anything other than their own sickening greed. I am not the type of person to leave a review on anything or about anyone, but in this case it might just save a life and a family from suffering the very same fate we are.

I took my cat in because she had been scratching herself and I saw some inflammation on the skin. The vet was professional and friendly. Her skin condition has been improved - and we didn't have to pay for extra stuff like X-ray blood test etc like other places. I like that they are honest.

My Maltese pup had his first visit with Chantilly Animal Hospital last week. Appointment scheduled quickly. No wait upon arrival. Angelia was compassionate and was soothing and caring with my puppy. Dr La Tour was straightforward in his communications, diagnosis, addressing my concerns and questions, and providing recommendations. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient. A very pawsitive experience! Look forward to ongoing relationship with this team of professionals.

I would not recommend they have been making mistakes one time was fine but more then that is unexceptionable. Getting charged for baths but it’s not done……

Today was my first visit and I went with my neighbor's recommendation for Dr. Bingaman. She was great with my Puppy Mill Mama Rescue English Mastiff, and my dog loved her! Personable and knowledgeable - I'm very pleased with this vet! Cheryl at the front desk was wonderful with my many questions and so very helpful. They offer FREE first visits which is unheard of in this area, and really great wellness plans that I signed up for. Very, very reasonable - I was so pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to a long relationship with this vet!
