I've been in the auto business for 20+ years. I've encountered a lot of towing companies. Charlie was very professional, helpful and friendly with the customer he had. The customer had nothing but great things to say about Charlie and he had been broken down, waiting for over 3 hours. Charlie definitely exceeded the customer's expectations.

My vehicle was parked in the garage for about three months and wouldn’t start. I called AAA and they sent me BHT. My registration was expired so they wouldn’t jump start my car unless I paid $125 directly to BHT because AAA wouldn’t cover it. I said to go ahead and jumpstart it and was surprised that I was able to renew the registration online in 3 min. I then showed him the renewal and asked if he can confirm with AAA if they would still cover this service call since this was a AAA call. He proceeds to my vehicle , turned it off so that the car cannot start back up and tosses the keys at me and walks away. Mind you I am 9 months pregnant and was distressed. I called AAA back and they were shocked that this happened, apologized and sent me another service call. Unless you want to deal with a crook, don’t use this company

I broke down in VA on my way to PA I was broke down for over 5 hrs because of roadside assistance there mess up but all other towing services canceled but finally roadside got in touch with BHT and I called to make sure they was OK because of the distance but Al answered and omg it was amazing to finally talk to someone that was extremely nice and he said his driver would be there in 45 min and he was right Josh was there to get me which he is amazing I had 100 miles on my roadside assistance which would had been to Maryland but Josh and AL didn't want me to be in a parking lot in Maryland that late at night. They blessed me in taking me all the way home I'm struggling in a financial situation and They truly cared who does that in a time like this but BHT really cared Josh the driver drove over 5 hrs after working all day to take me home there concern was my safety and then had to drive back to VA and on top of all that he brought me something to eat They treated me like family I was so blessed because if it wasn't for them I would had to stay in my car they are Angeles sent from Heaven They are so much more than a Towing company they got me home safe the ride with Josh was amazing I'm so forever grateful to them I highly recommend BHT

The person that assisted me with my vehicle was barry. I wrecked my car hit a deer on the way home from work. I work a very busy schedule I had been trying to get it towed it was impossible to the point State Police picked it up! Barry took care of everything for me got my car to the auto body shop so that my insurance could get a ball on it him and his company have been extremely kind to me and very understanding you know it's a difficult time for everybody in the world right now. Just based on Berry's performance alone I would highly highly recommend this transportation company.

Our car broke down on the way to work and Carvana utilized Black Horse Transport for their towing services. Barry was the tow truck driver and he was courteous and professional. I appreciated his help and he even allowed me to ride along to the mechanic which saved me from having to call an Uber. I would definitely recommend this company based on Barry's professionalism alone.Service: Car towing

I have used the service two times (including today) and they have been exceptional ! Very knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful plus they’re fellow car enthusiasts ?? I have a lowered early 90’s Honda Accord that (unfortunately) AAA - with their own fleet of tow trucks they’re drivers didn’t know how to handle too well in the past ?♂️ Also I’d forgotten the gentleman’s name from the past tow but he and Barry are top notch !Services: Special vehicle towing

My car broke down and was very close to a busy intersection in Vienna. I called AAA, and Blackhorse Transport was the company that came. The driver, Barry got to my car within 15 minutes of my call during peak rush hour, which is incredible. His speed saved me a lot of trouble. If my car had stayed there much longer, a passing police car would surely have towed it away at my expense. Barry also offered to have the faulty alternator repaired at their shop, which I appreciated. Thank you, Barry! Thank you Blackhorse!

Thank you to Josh and Black Horse Transportation for the quick, reliable, friendly, and caring service!! Nothing worse than when your car breaks down on a hot day, but Josh was there quickly, got my car loaded up, provided some great information on local repair shops, and even stayed with me until my Lyft arrived so I wouldn't be standing on the side of the road by myself. This company goes above and beyond - even offering me a ride home and bringing my car back to me after it was repaired!Service: Car towing

There are not enough words to express my gratitude for Al and this company. I experienced a very difficult situation with my son's vehicle and it needed a tow. I had hit wall after wall in regards to getting it towed until I was in contact with AL. After emotionally explaining my situation and the problems with getting the vehicle towed Al told me in a very calm matter, we got you. I could tell that he meant that and that the vehicle was finally going to be taken care of.... the sense of relief was automatic.This company and its employees care about people.. about helping people which is missing so much in our society today.This is the ONLY tow company you should ever use!

There I was, broken down on Rt.50, cars blaring their horns at me, so scared people would have accidents... I called AAA first, and then 911 to ask for assistance with traffic. AAA sent Black Horse Transportation - Eddie was like my knight in shining armour, but instead of riding a white horse, well... who cares what color it was! He saved me and whisked me back home (I tipped him well) before taking my car to a repair shop. Now Mr. Eddie told me to go to HIS repair place Advance Automotive, but I was unfamiliar with them, so I asked that he drop it to the place that used to treat me right. Notice "used to"... After looking at my car, this place told me I'm looking at $6-8K to fix it!!! I was trying to get my 2006 to 20 years old but not for that price. I called Eddie back to see about a tow home so I could pay my final respects - and Eddie said to please call Advanced Automotive - just ask what it'd cost to replace the timing belt since that's what first place said I needed (but they also said new water pump, and new engine, plus other untold items until new engine was in place!) I called and they were willing to tow from 1st repair place to themselves (less than 6 miles) - so I said YES! Chris, the service manager called me back SAME DAY and told me what was up. Engine was fine, just needed a new timing belt and they'd let me know on the water pump. Wow! Glory day! I got to keep Old Blue after all! This is a normal item on your 120,000 mileage service recommendation so was no surprise. Everything else on my 2006 PT Cruiser was working just fine. They got the job done so fast!!! Found out my neighbor has been using them for years and swears by them - which was the extra confirmation that I needed. Thank you Eddie! You saved Old Blue!Service: Car towing

Thankful to be a AAA member! AAA sent BHT to my rescue after my alternator blew out in the middle of the road during rush hour (ugh!). I was really happy to be met with such a nice man who assisted in taking my car to the AAA garage.
