I've gotten "real wood" furniture here since 1988. Best furniture around if you're looking for real wood. It's very sturdy. I've had pieces made to match other pieces that I already own. They do a wonderful job. Very easy to work with and great advice given. Thank you Real Wood!

Great service! All our questions were answered and we felt confident about our purchase. The bed arrived two weeks earlier than expected (and looked even better than we remembered), and the delivery people arrived exactly on time and did a quick and professional job assembling it. If looking for furniture, you need to visit Real Wood. If nothing else, during the pandemic, they created outstanding custom pieces in less than a month! Pandemic notwithstanding, the team knows their stuff, and not only can create what you need, but help you in the design process, and do it at an excellent price. Also, know they offer stained & painted furniture, and not just unfinished wood. We've purchased multiple stained pieces from them, and each and every one has been excellent. We cannot recommend enough!

First of all, everything in the store is beautiful. But the whole process, from ordering to delivery, was super easy. The staff was helpful and easy to work with. My new furniture looks AMAZING!

Real Wood Furniture specializes in quality custom-made to order furniture from various Amish catalogues. They can finish the wood in a variety of colors or factory finishings can be purchased, often at an additional fee. The store itself is clean and offers various examples of the different furniture-maker’s furnishings. The staff was friendly and not pushy and let me browse as wanted.

Suburb service. Furniture is beautiful and high quality. My daughter accidentally lost her sunglasses in the store. We didn’t know where she had lost them. They found them and figured out they were ours. They surprised my daughter and delivered the sunglasses with her new furniture. Genuine nice people.

Great experience buying a king bed. We love the bed, but the customer service was even better. We sent a number of emails checking in on the status of our order, and we always received a prompt reply. We will be returning to Real Wood whenever we need to buy more furniture.

This place is awesome! Huge selection, friendly and helpful staff (who don’t pressure you or seem annoyed when you ask them questions, you know the type). I ordered custom bookshelves the end of last year, and boy, were they worth the wait! I was able to describe what I “envisioned”—height, width, length— and they helped my with the rest—moldings style, door frame, depth of each shelf, etc. There were many, many, many style and stain options to choose from. I was even called with updates about my order because “they hadn’t forgotten about me”! This was my first experience shopping with Bare Woods but it won’t be my last! (P.S. these photos don’t do the craftsmanship and beauty of these bookshelves any justice.)

My wife and I bought living room furniture from Bare Woods back in 2012 when we moved to DC, and again recently in 2020 for a home office. It's so great to have some flexibility in customizing design, material and finish to best meet your specific needs, and they are a pleasure to deal with. Their furniture is not cheap, but it's solid wood and you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Ordering a piece of furniture, finished or unfinished, from several hundred miles away is a crapshoot. I sure am glad I threw the dice. I am very happy with the Maple corner cabinet that I ordered a few weeks ago. The team at Bare Woods made several contacts with me via email to make sure that they understood exactly what it was I wanted. That gave me a high degree of confidence. They also told me that I would have my cabinet within three to four weeks. True to their word, I ordered my cabinet on February 14th and I received my cabinet on March the 3rd. I just put my coat of stain on it and today I'll put on my two coats of finish later today and put it in its resting place. I am a very satisfied customer way up here in the North Country of Vermont.
