If I could give zero stars I would. I am planning to move forward with legal action toward the company. We signed a contract quoting us at $3 and change per cubic foot. When the actual moving company shows up (because American way is only a broker), they tell me that we waived the inventory assessment with the moving company (I did not. This is a breach of contract), and that the minimum they are able to charge per DOT regulations is $12 per cubic foot. That is FOUR TIMES the cost of what I was quoted. I was told by American way moving company that the only price difference will be if we have more inventory than quoted, and that it will be quoted at $3/cubic foot. The best part is that everybody at the company who I spoke to that was “there is I need anything” has not responded to a single call or message. I can not believe that this company is able to operate in this unethical and unlawful way.

The American Moving and Storage crew did a fantastic job moving our household goods!
First, working with management to get an initial quote was easy and clear to understand. Second, the moving crew was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our furniture did not have any damage during the move.
Overall, I could not recommend a better moving company to work with and trust for moving services!

The crew was very professional and did a great job wrapping and securing my items. They ensured all my items were packed tight and made it into the cube space for my cross-country move. They were fabulous. Thank you!

My settlement was a disaster but for the patient and kind moving crew with American Moving. I had to scramble for storage units close to the new house due to the settlement issue and the guys didn’t blink nor complain about the delay. They left my furniture wrapped and showed care unloading to storage. They could not stay the night as the new house was not local and the local company I had to get 2 days later could not compare to American, who again showed extreme care for my furnishings. Kudos to American and will sing their praise to anyone who asks. I can not thank you and your crew enough for the kindness shown during this very stressful time.

I’ve never used movers before, but my experience with American Moving & Storage was a positive one. From the beginning, Nick answered all my questions and provided a detailed quote. On move day, Oscar’s team showed up on time and did an excellent job. The guys were polite, professional, and hard working. They did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend this company for all moving needs.

I hired American Moving and Storage based on reviews in two different media. The three workers that were assigned the job were worth their weight in gold. The level of professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail when wrapping, moving and packing the furniture in their truck for the final move was second to none. They worked quickly with a designed plan in mind, minimizing the hours needed to complete the job. Their rates were better than most and certainly worth every penny. I will strong recommend American Moving and Storage to all my friends and family for their moving needs.

I called several moving companies for quotes on our cross country move and went with American Moving because Bryce was super thorough and honest on our initial zoom call and inventory check. Their prices were reasonable too, not the cheapest but also not the most expensive in comparison to all the other quotes. They sent a team of 3 to move our 2bed 2bath apt into Uhaul boxes and they were quick and efficient minus a few hiccups like rain and how much room we had in each box which added an extra hour but thats out of their control. Oscar Jimmy and Alfredo were great! Nick was also quick to respond and nice to work with when we had questions about logistics and costs. I'd definitely recommend!

Just a fantastic job by the crew moving our large household on one of the hottest days of the year. Despite the heavy workload and harsh environment, the crew maintained a positive attitude, were polite & courteous, and displayed professionalism all day long (and it was a long day). They carefully packed items we requested and handled items we packed with the care as if they had packed them. All items off-loaded, furniture reassembled and zero damage. It doesn't get any better. A great job well performed by Oscar and his crew.

I went with this company after reviewing and speaking with several others. ALWAYS go with your gut feeling. Not once did they not pick up their phone to answer a question and they were efficient and timely and they stuck with their quote. The crew was polite and explained everything that was to happen during my move. Although I was moving my items to storage, without a doubt I will be using them again when I purchase a new house.
