After being a customer for over 5 years and constantly having plenty of money in all my accounts, i went to open a small business account for my new business. To fund the account, i wrote a check from myself to myself, but apparently the checks were old so they flagged my account for fraud without telling me. I go to log into my business account and it would not let me so i called customer service. I was given no explanation as to what happened with this account and was told that they did not owe me an explanation for why they decided to close the account. After a few weeks of the manager "investigating" i did not receive a phone call, so i came into this branch to get answers and the bank teller called customer service. Only through overhearing the phone call did i realize that this mess was because the check i wrote to myself was flagged as fraud because it was an old check and i didn't know. So i explained everything to the manager and he told me that the account would be up and running by the end of the week. A couple days later, i get a phone call from the same manager saying the account cannot be opened and that i owe a $20 fee, but he explained that if i came in person that the fee could be waived. At that point i had to come in a couple different times as they were short staffed and i could not be helped. Finally, i speak with someone who i was told was an assistant manager, but apparently she isn't and she said i have to pay the fee. At this point i will be switching banks as i have never been treated with such a hassle. The delay in this account has costed me time and now money in which i was supposed to have business expenses coming out of the account. Good thing i was proactive in continuously checking the status on this mess to figure this situation out as they were not. The phone calls i did receive, i had different information from each employee. Although they think i committed fraud against myself and will not let me open any more accounts even after explaining the situation, they apparently have no issue in keeping mine and my husbands money in our joint account. I do not feel valued as a long term client and i would not recommend this bank to anyone. If giving less than 1 star was an option, i would find that more accurate.

I was a new customer to TD Bank and had an appointment with Junior Hernandez. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the staff and Junior. He was able to assist me with opening accounts with TD and he took his time to explain everything to me. I really appreciated his professionalism and patience, and he made the entire process easy. If you ever need to visit TD Bank in Centreville, VA, please go see Junior. He is one of the best and I highly recommend him for your banking needs.

The Centreville, VA TD Bank staff are amazing. Our autistic /independent adult son banks there. They know his name and have been incredibly helpful, particularly in the past year where we needed to restructure his banking life. Every time he has called or visited, everyone there has gone out of their way to help him. And anytime we called on his behalf, it felt like we were calling a small, local, neighborhood bank, not a major banking company. Because of this we have now moved all his banking accounts to TD Bank. This gives us peace of mind that he will be in good hands with wonderful people.

This was the 5th bank I had tried to set up a certified income trust. Not only was this the ONLY bank knowledgeable about this (granted, the trust person at Citibank was off today), but they were so friendly and helpful. They notarized everything, taught me how to use the app, and answered all of my questions. Roy and Noah are the best! I’m moving all of my accounts here.

Like others have written, they turn off your card or lock your account quite often. Went to this branch for a new card and they were useless with claiming to have a broken card machine. Although their management appears to be intelligent, they can't do much other than sit down and call the 800 number. Their app and technology is severely dated and lacking most services provided by other big banks.

Very bad customer service friend of mine recomend this bank but is not good service for me i need to close my account right away 3 time lock my account with the excuse for my security jajaja they make me pick up 3 diferent debit card ??just i used first time and then lock again and again terrible can used my own money terrible terrible please dont open account in TD bank ??

Need to improve on communication with customers. Confused Service. First opened account with other TD bank location, extremely satisfied. So helpful, connected to customers, offered good advises and recommendations, efficient arrangement when customers walked in and out, felt so welcome there. This location gave a different impression.
