We have ordered many times from them over the years... Playground mulch, stone, slate, and sandbox sand. Their prices are fair and competitive (I check every time), they always deliver right on time, the drivers are courteous and considerate of dumping preferences, and they never skimp on quantity (quite the opposite!). Highly recommend for your landscaping needs!!

They are truly great - I bought blend of topsoil and compost for my house - first the process of buying online was easy, I was able to schedule delivery for a specific date - everything happened just as promised and on time and the quality of the soil was excellent. Would use them again.

I’ve gotten 5 CY of mulch, fill dirt, and their topsoil compost mix. All have been pest free and great quality with seamless delivery and even weekend deliveries. Jury is still out on the Topsoil mix and its value to my flowers and veggies but so far so good and will definitely be using them again for their great prices!

I ordered 5 yards of Topsoil & Compost Mixture, but what I received was mostly clay mixed with gravel. Initially, it looked fine because the stones weren’t visible due to the powdery texture. However, after the first rain washed away the clay, I was left with a yard full of gravel. Very disappointing.
However, I can certainly give credit to their support team. They responded quickly with both calls and emails, and I received a prompt refund. - Thank you!

I ordered 3 tons of stone. It was delivered when promised, where I identified for it to be delivered, and for the most part what I wanted. The only negative from this whole transaction was there was a fair amount of sand in with the stone, which I was not expecting. I dealt with it and it looks great. I would use there service again and recommend them to others.

Truck delivery damaged my asphalt driveway twice despite warnings given to the driver. Also, the soil delivered the second time was not the same (top soil) quality. I cannot recommend them for that reason.

READ BBB reviews/complaints!! READ YELP reviews! This company unfortunately may have been a “has been,” because my complaints fall in line with what has already been reported which is SO SADDENING. Placed an order, promised it would come Monday, truck apparently broke down, promised it would come Tuesday morning, apparently bad traffic, was then told 2pm, apparently still in traffic, then told the driver was at the rock quarry but in fact wasn’t, so was told now end of business day. This is just not how you do business as it’s unethical. For those of you who may have done what I’ve done “oh wow 4.8 stars, decent reviews!” Yea move on and look at the other platforms you will know to not utilize this company.

We had compost delivered last year and it was perfect. Fast forward to this year, they showed up at 7:15 a.m. and dumped something in our yard they called compost. Unfortunately, we thought that a company in the business of selling compost and mulch would know whats up…what they delivered is nothing but clay. Absolutely can’t be used in raised beds. Do yourself a favor and check out your product before you pay for it.

I have been a customer since 2016. The customer service is outstanding and helpful. They will help you confirm the amount of the product you need for your project if you need reassurance and the delivery folks are wonderful. Do not hesitate to order from Mulch and Stone!

Used multiple times. In response to latest season: Awful customer service (not available on the phone and did not return call). Ended up ordering mulch anyway, but the double-shredded mulch was very poor. Too many wood chips and sticks. Large chunks of wood. Not sure what happened this year.
