This place is so horrible. I got a haircut and they chopped off half of my hair. And on top of that she cut layers which i NEVER asked for. They have the worst service ever and is so disrespectful. They give weird looks and i never ever want to go back. Its a nightmare.

Expensive! I went Saturday to get my hair trimmed. No shampoo, 10-15 minute dry cut and a 5 minute blow dry to curl my ends - $40! Haircut looks even but it was just a trim anyway. Pay extra for fast service if that's what you are in to.

Made an appointment and went there on time but waited 15 minutes. No one said sorry to me. More than that, last time, the person I asked to cut my hair was not even there so I had to go back home. I guess this is their business norm. I strongly DO NOT recommend this place unless you have extra 15/30 minutes you do not mind wasting.Service: Haircut

I've had my hair cut at Hair Sketch about 5 times now and it's been mostly positive. I've walked out more times than not feeling good about my hair cut. Yesterday, I had an appointment with May to get my hair colored before I was going to take some family photos this weekend. She said she could trim my hair too and I didn't fight her on it. The hair color came out great, but I wasn't sure about the hair cut. She had styled it before I left and I liked the airiness of the cut at first, but when I showered today, I thought it looked like I had a mullet :( I called this morning to see if I could get it fixed and I got an appointment at 2pm. I saw Anna and as I explained what I didn't like, she seemed to understand the issue. She sent me off for a shampoo and then showed me some photos to make sure she knew what I wanted (which I appreciated ). She worked quickly to cut the offensive mullet and transition the layers more naturally. While my hair is a lot shorter than I wanted it to be, I am so glad I went back to get it fixed. Next time I book, I'll plan to see Anna. In general, this place is reasonably priced for good, quick service and I will be back - I just recommend that you make absolutely sure that your stylist knows what you want

I want to give five stars to the hair stylist, May, who did great job on my hair today. She knew what I wanted more than I did and got my hair done with her excellent skills. It's super satisfying !

This is my first time to write reivew in public. It was the worst haircut experience EVER in my life. The hair designer didn’t ask which style I wanted and just did what she did. The worst thing was hers haircut skills. She even can’t cut straight. So unprofessional and unskillful. Anyone welcomed their customers. Even there service quality was poor. Don’t waste your money and time. Just asking one of your friends to cut your hair, rather going there. I promise that it would be a MUCH better option for you. I really regret being one of their royal customers and I will never be there in my life.Services: Hairstyling

My first time getting a haircut here, called ahead 20 minutes before I arrived and lucky enough the staff told me I could walk in. The place was clean. Service was quick and efficient, the staff is very knowledgable about styling as she also helped me chose the style that would go well with my look.

I think Anna was her name, but she sucks at cutting hair. I'm not picky but she has no skills. They're also overpriced and they charge differently based on customer. Feels like they scam people that will likely just pay without questions. Will never cut here again.

So, I've used hair sketch frequently and their quality of service seems to be on part at best. I've called them as their business opened (this wasn't the 1st time), and it seems they have every reason as to why I can't schedule at the requested time (e.g. stylist requested is sick, it's lunch time, too late in the hours, etc.). I was hoping that the receptionist is aware enough to know to handle scheduling but that wasn't the case.From professional service stand point, I've seen better and cleaner quality in other neighborhoods, and I was hoping their customer and professional service would improve, but that's NOT the case. I would rather take my business elsewhere even if it means driving out to annandale.Service: Haircut
