Visiting this particular pharmacy was a rather pleasant experience. The staff was helpful and nice. They were busy but stayed attentive, letting those of us who were waiting know where they were in the process.
The team made multiple attempts to aid me with contacting Tricare to get insurance to pay for the medication (even though I had told them I didn't mind paying). The professionalism was great. And they would even ring people up who were 10 items or less.
What wasn't great was the call I received saying the pharmacy had my medication ready. It took me 27 minutes to arrive, and I got there to find out the Rx had not been fulfilled as the call suggested. This issue halted a 5-star review.

I absolutely love everyone that works in the food city pharmacy in cedar bluff, va. They are the best, and will bend over backwards to help you anyway they can. GREAT PEOPLE!!!

The staff at the Claypool Hill, VA location are wonderful. They go above and beyond to assist with my dad's medication. Their compassion and personalization are very helpful and heartwarming. If I lived in the area, I would only deal with this pharmacy because of their caring staff.
