This is an amazing place to showcase local artist. The staff is friendly and very helpful. One of the ladies Morgan she is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Arts Center and the Mill. She is also an artist who has several of her paintings showcased.

We rented the Appalachian Arts Center for our annual Christmas Luncheon, and everything was perfect. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We had plenty of room and kitchen space. Stacy Brooks was wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond from beginning to end. I highly recommend this venue for events.

We have our wedding here in August of 2022 and it was a fabulous experience and venue. The price was right, plus set up and tear down was a breeze. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place.

About Appalachian Arts Center
Appalachian Arts Center, a part of Southwest Virginia Community College, is a 4000 square foot gallery, marketplace and educational resource. The center is divided into seven small gallery spaces devoted exclusively to the exhibition and sale of work created by local craftspeople, artists, student apprentices, authors and musicians; while a large rotating exhibition space showcases regional artisans. A variety of educational demonstrations, artist talks, professional development workshops and craft courses are offered.
