I always make an appt here and service is relatively on time. The employees are clearly well trained in customer service. They communicate well about the progress of your vehicle, and there is even a link with which you can follow the progress. The free rotation and balance is a nice bonus. They will definitely try to sell you wiper blades but they seem honest about it. Today I took my car for rotation only and was told my blades were good, so I left with $0 due. They are not pushy about it and I recognize they are doing their job. Oh and they always shine up your tires!

I recently went into Discount Tire to get tire rotation and balance service. (I bought tires from here about six months ago).
Nate and another technician helped me. I was in and out quickly. The service was great. I can’t say enough good things about this business!

Staff was wonderful and very friendly. I thought I needed a brand new tire. However I was informed it was just the tire valve that been to be replaced ( and for free!!!) I really appreciated the honesty. So they weren't there trying to take t your money like other places. Highly recommend this location I would use it myself every single time!! Alex helped me and he was fantastic 😊 Thanks so much!!!

Made an appointment to have my tires changed. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The employees are incredibly nice and checked on me to give updates.

Great store. Clean, staff are professional and knowledgeable. They saved our weekend and they were the only store in town that carried the size we needed for our Genesis G70. We highly recommend them.

Before I even walked in the door I was greeted and the staff already knew what my vehicle was in for. My appointment was 0815, and I left about 0830. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Only 2 minute caveats. First being I'm missing a lug nut from my OEM lug package which contains my key socket, and there was a decent amount of grease on 2 of my rims I had to clean off.

This store definitely has some work to do.
Patrick seems to be knowledgeable but definitely messy.
We have used discount tire for YEARS!
We were on our 3rd set of run flat tires and evidently the 3rd set is "the newer version" and garbage?? We bought them in February and in October we were told that they were so bald that they weren't safe to rotate?!?!
Anyhow. We live 2 hours and 18 minutes away from the closest Discount tire. I had considered going to a different tire store between the kid attempting to use scare tactics to get us to buy a new set of tires and the distance. Patrick worked extremely hard to keep our business... We ended leaving on a "loaner" set of tires and agreed to come back the following week because of course, our tires weren't in stock... We drove, one way, 2 hours and 18 minutes AGAIN just to be put to the bottom of the line and wait an hour and a half to get our tires put on!
We will be trying the Christiansburg store when it's open in January and if they are anything like the Roanoke store, we will be taking our 10+ years of business elsewhere!
*** As we were finally getting our car back to take the 2+ hour trip back home, Adam has already seen the review we posted and clearly felt a certain way about it. Had we been followed through with as in had the tires we had to come back for (again an almost 5 hour round trip)been put on immediately when we arrived instead of making us wait another 2 hours, this review would have been much different. We felt almost trapped! When they said an hour and 45 minutes, what were we to do?!?! Patrick was very aware of the traveling we did to get there and the travel ahead of us to get back home and yet, we were made to wait 2 hours! I believe that had Patrick told Adam anything about our horrible experience, Adam would have had us back on the road asap. Definitely much to learn from this experience for this discount tire.
I'm not changing my Stars because Patrick completely dropped the ball and left us taking an entire day to deal with the garbage tires that Discount tires sold us in February.

I ordered my tires through their online website which was an easy process. I was told the tires would arrive in 5 days and the appointment was set. I was messaged up to the last minute on the day of my appointment that everything was on schedule. When I arrived I was told the tires had not been delivered and not sure when or if they will. The service advisor suggested other tires which were in stock but would be a different brand and tread pattern I wanted. Instead of driving back home I decided to go with his recommendation. I am somewhat pleased with the tire selection but disappointed with the process. Next time I will call ahead.

I have used Discount Tire across the country and have always received 5 star service, except this time. My tires were bought and installed at a different Discount Tire store. One of my tires has a whop-whop-whop sound on smooth roads. The day before, I made an on-line reservation with all the detail. Upon arrival, Justin meets me in the parking lot and asks what he can do for me. I believe there was only one other customer there. What was the purpose of writing the detailed request on-line service request if they don't read it? So, already irritated, I told him, rotate, balance and inspection. He runs his electronic gismo across all tires and says that I don't need a rotation and to come back when they wear a little more. Yeah, I left without getting a balance or rotation. I guess the inspection consisted of running his measurement tool across the tires. Justin just came across like he wouldn't make any profit off me so he wasn't going to fulfill my request. I wasn't happy as this is not like Discount Tire to treat a customer. I won't ever return to that store.

We arrived with a blown tire and a rim at 5:00.
The representative in charge said they could help us and had a tire that would work, but they did say it would be probably an hour before a technician to get to it.
We explaind to him that we had a car on the side of the road and if her curious position and needed to get back there as soon as possible to put the tire and rim back on.
We just happen to have a tire technician with us in our group of sports car drivers and we offered that he could do the tire change on the rim and the balancing and that he actively worked at a tire shop at the time.
Clearly that would have probably put them in jeopardy of liability law so instead, the lead service writer went and changed the blown tire out for the new one, balanced it, and sent our friend out the door within 15 minutes of arrival.
It was a godsend as we were losing daylight being so late in the day, and it allowed us to get our friend back on the road in a timely manner.
I absolutely could not recommend this particular franchise of discount tire more highly.
Whoever was the lead service writer/ service manager on September 18th 2024, understands perfectly what quality customer service looks like.
We had a group of five car drivers there, and all five were impressed and will have confidence in discount tire in the future.
