In this rustic little country hamlet of Cartersville, VA, population 995, you will spot this adorable post office with the gingerbread trim on the gable that's perched on a white washed brick foundation. I love driving to small towns and searching out these cute old post offices with so much character! This one has a tiny lobby, but it's loaded with charm! Minimal mailing services, no passports, etc. but I'd be happy to drop my mail here anytime!

I have lived in Cartersville now for almost 3 years. The people on the mail routes and inside the Post Office are wonderful. The very helpful they answer our questions and extremely friendly. The post office is small but very clean, rather quaint.

I live on Rhodes ln in cartersville and first of all my package was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago now imma have to wait till Monday to see if they decide to bring it that day I'll be calling and complaining Monday. also the mail carriers that come thru our rd have no consideration for the speed limit on our road we have people who walk and walk with small kids and pets on this rd the speed limit is 15!!! explain to me why it's okay for them to do 40 45 thru here on gravel none the less. cats and dogs also cross these roads as well as deer. I understand you have packages to deliver ect but you aren't supposed to speed. this has been going on for over a year that I know of
