Dr. Amy Balka is my brand new PCP. Met with her for the first time yesterday (9/14/2023). I am so relieved to have such a good listener and competent professional that I can rely upon to help coordinate care & direct questions to regarding my health.

Been going here for past 5 years. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment because they see so many people but that's all doctors offices. Overall good place to go.

Just had a great new patient appointment with Dr. Knust. She is very personable and easy to talk with, and I did not feel rushed at all. I am so glad I finally made the switch from my previous provider.

I see Dr. Balka and she is amazing! She's caring and she is the type of doctor that will actually listen to you. She will work with you to find the best solution for your care. When I can't get in to see Dr. Balka, I see Dr. Knust she is the same way, very caring and personable. She listens and will provide the best care plan that fits your needs. Their the only two in the office that I will see. Their the best!

Just transferred out of this office and will not be going back. Don’t waste your time. Had a good first experience but every time after that has been lacking. There are good doctor offices out there! Just not this one.

Dr Balka is very caring and stays on top of my care. I'm very glad to have her as my MD. She's very popular so can be late in her apt times but not her fault. She is always attentive and listens. Test results aren't her fault either. Mine take days to get back. She will also even answer my questions even on the weekends!

I moved an hour away to the Ocean front and still travel to see Dr.Knust She is brilliant. She answers all of my questions without hesitation and she always treats me well. The nurse and lab tech are also kind. I had to see Amy two years ago as an urgent appointment.. I had bilateral pink eye and they were able to fit me in on her schedule the same day. She was very kind and informative, as well. I had considered finding another primary doctor closer to me but every time I need help Dr. Knust is there for me and my son, as well.

I have been a patient of Dr Knust for years. You can tell she believes in providing excellent patient care. I have referred many people to this office because of her calm/knowledgeable demeanor and the way she goes above and beyond for her patients

This place is terrible. It took them a year to get shot records for one of my kids. After several misdiagnosis, faulty equipment, and their lies of a records department and excuses of why my children's medical records were still not transferred after a month. I will be making sure every single mother within all of I.O.W county knows never to come here. Your failure to run accurate tests on my kids sent them to an urgent care and CHKD. TWICE. Inexcusable and completely unprofessional.

I made an appointment 3 weeks ago as a new patient. I was given an appointment for 3:15. I was running late and I called at 3:15 I was 5 minutes out do to getting in to school bus traffic do I need to reschedule. The female who answered said I had a 15 minute window. I walked in at 3:23 and waited 5 minutes for receptionist to get off the phone which was now 3:32. She said I missed my appointment and that I needed to be there at 2:00 since I was a new patient (she said they needed that time to enter me in the office an hour and fifteen minutes!!. It would have been nice to have known that when I made the appointment and had it in the text reminder they sent out and now Dr Balka's new patients appointment we're months out. But I could reschedule a little earlier with the nurse practitioner, she may be well qualified but I do not need to make an appointment and pay a copay to be rescheduled for Dr Balka for another copay when I know the nurse practitioner cannot help with serious issues I have going on. When I made the appointment I first asked if they were exepting new patients I was told yes, then I gave the person on the phone a detailed description of what I had going on. The fact my family doctor retired, and I have a
Serious issue with my kneck and spinal cord and surgery was up coming. And that I needed a referral for an endocrinologist, because of what Doctor Person's in Suffolk had seen in my MRI. Even as a new patient, and needing my records it would have been nice to have at least met with Dr Palka, which is who my appointment was with and I took off work for. I didn't say much when I left, I was very upset, so I just wrote this crying in there parking lot! They must have a back door so for the 45 minutes I have been sitting here getting my self together and getting madder, there has been no one entering the office, there busy appointments that they could get me in must have used the back door! Thank you for all your help ladies.

Medical Care At A Glance! should be the tag line for this facility. Several of my family members have been here, one who had to go to the hospital immediately after visiting when his blood work was viewed by registered nurse, even though they had sent him home. The doctor does not care to look farther into any patient's issues.
