My trip into the "conspiracy zone" began on 8/22 at approximately 5 pm, with me entering the Food Mart to pay for gas. There was a line, which would be fine, except that it was caused be the clerk telling a story to the customer. After that customer leaves I am the only person in the store wearing a mask and trying to social distance myself. The clerk apparently knows the other three customers in line, so now is the perfect time to go on a diatribe about the phony science of wearing masks, the virus is a hoax, Dr. Fauci is evil, etc. She pretends to not be able to hear me over the very loud music just to really drive her point home about why masks are bad. I never thought that caring about the health of the people around me would lead to an attempted public shaming. This clerk should not be allowed to deal with the public unless the only customers wanted are QAnon supporters.
