I like this location over the one by the Springfield Town Center. This Staples always has what we need and the employees are friendly.

I go into the Burke store to look at chairs and bookshelves. I see there are sales going on with the chairs. A salesman comes up to me very friendly and says they have a sale going on tomorrow with chairs. I am confused cause there are sign saying there was a sale going on, there was even a sales sign on the chair I wanted. I picked out my chair and said I will take it but want the sale cause there is a sign advertising the sale. The salesman said he would have to ask the manager. He comes back and says sorry the sale is tomorrow not today. I am confused cause there is a sale sign on it. Why falsely advertise for a sale and say it starts tomorrow while a sale sign on it? I took a pic of the chair with the sale sign on it. At this point the salesman all I can do is give $25 or $50 off, I cannot give you the sales price. I declined and left the store.
My 2 issues:
1) why advertise for a sale if one is not currently going on?
2) why pass up a sale when someone wants to buy something that is advertised as on sale?

Purchased one item as soon as the store opened. White/hispanic looking guy with glasses and curly hair at the counter named "Anthony" with customer service badge ringed up my item.
No hello, No good morning, No greeting of any kind. Just blank dead facial expression. Is this how Staples train their employees? He must have been unhappy since I "interrupted" his computer work. Only one register opened. Well as a customer what do I do if I want to buy an item from staples? Are they not wanting customers here? Perhaps I will not shop here anymore.

I came in to print photos from my phone. African American lady sitting behind the desk like she doesn't want to be bothered. I asked her how to do it. She says "Just go to the printer and email them to the printer ." WTF kind of instruction is that?! I was instantly irritated with her but kept my composure. How unprofessional. Another employee, a man who was standing nearby came to me and showed me step by step what to do. I thanked him and he walked away. However, I ran into a problem and couldn't figure out why it wasn't sending the email to the printer. I inquired to the lady. "I don't know. Sometimes iPhones act funny, just email it to yourself and then to the printer again." I tried. No luck. Like HOW DIFFICULTY is it to come and offer assistance? She couldn't be bothered and it was very obvious. If she's in the customer service buisness, how about helping a customer in need? She's not a good look for this company. Maybe she should go home and start her day all over, again. Or get another job.

I recently visited this Staples close to closing time for a self-print project and had an exceptional experience, all thanks to Anthony and Russell. Their assistance was above and beyond, ensuring my project was completed effectively before it got too late. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to help truly ended my week on a high note since I really wanted to share the printout with my family over the weekend. A big thank you to both of them for their exemplary customer service.

We came to return an Xfinity router since staples is now partnered with them to accept returns. We called the store and xfinity and they confirmed they can do this. We arrived and the young boy at the return center looked lost and confused. We asked for a manager to assist as we were told they can do this without an issue. The young boy looked scared to death to ask the manager. He went over to what I’m going to assume is the manager. This was the nastiest meanest manager we ever came across. He was speaking to the young boy like he was stupid. We then told the manager directly we’re just trying to make a return. The manager throws up his hands and looks/talks to us like we’re stupid. The manager was bright red and looked like he just got done yelling at someone. Manager was telling us off and screaming at us to get out. This was the most violent interaction I’ve ever had and extremely uncalled for. The manager was throwing his arms everywhere and asking us “who told you that you can make a return?!?!” We told him we don’t know! Quite frankly even if we did know the name we wouldn’t tell this guy because he probably would have flipped on his employee based on how violent and aggressive he was. I have never had anyone, a manager at that, come at me and my boyfriend like a complete animal. It caused a scene in the entire story, yelling at us across from the store, using foul language and curse words. He was rushing us to get out and I thought he was going to assault us. NEVER EVER GO HERE! UPS store down the street did the router return in literally 2 seconds without any issue. All they had to do was scan the code on the bottom of the router and it had all the information. To think that something so small and simple caused the biggest scene ever is unbelievable to me. No one seems trained and all workers seemed terrified of this man. Don’t be in customer service if you’re going to be screaming and attacking customers.

Store Manager- John is very rude and condescending. Store closes at 8pm but he refused service prior to closing. Bad for business. Picture taken at 7:40pm.

Yesterday (Dec 29) at 5:00 PM.visited this store and wanted to pay cash for a $100 visa gift card. The guy at the counter (with a mustache) refused me, said that he needed a credit card for the payment. When I asked for a reason, he respnded the government is trying to stop money laundering ...... ?Are we entitled to use the US bill at Staples?
