I can't get a lap lane. My time is tight. Water is cool. I have tried coming at different times, even 7am. Maybe if I was retired and could wait 15 minutes-30 minutes. Hard to share with people who do butterly and breast stroke. There is a lady, Kudos, who brings her competition swim kids around lunchtime, when that's the time I have available to swim. I am going to have to return to Audrey Moore as parking is just as tight and the lanes are more available.

This gym is not that great. For $60 a month it should at least be somewhat put together. I can never find the weights I need, I spend most of my time just looking for them and for being a fairly new gym, the lockers rooms are in terrible condition. You will often find teenagers who just hang out around the machines. It's annoying for someone who wants to just go in, get their workout in, and get out. I have since canceled my membership (which I had to pay an extra $149 because I broke my 12 month contract) and been contacted via email by someone due to the review I gave when they sent me a survey. They asked me if I'd like to chat so they can better understand why I wasn't satisfied with the gym so I said yes and provided my phone number and a time that was most convenient for me. This was on January 27th and the general manager has yet to contact me.

I like the club's location and decided to become a member, but I've faced difficulties in finding proper assistance, particularly with the personal training services. After purchasing the first package of three sessions, the trainer unilaterally assigned me to a new, inexperienced trainer for her practice without asking. Although the new girl is very sweet, I was actually seeking a more experienced trainer.Today, while searching for assistance and waiting for half an hour to purchase a personal training package (which led to canceling my business meeting), the interaction with the only available trainer was unpleasant; he seemed too busy and only gave me his card, suggesting I call at another time. Surprisingly, the manager couldn't arrange a suitable personal trainer either. It's puzzling why the club doesn't seem interested in accommodating an enthusiastic client willing to spend extra money.

This gym has great potential, however there are a few things that grind my gears. My biggest issue is the lack of cleanliness. The women's locker room is just gross. There is hair, water, paper, and other randomness all over the place, all the time. There aren't enough cleaning stations around the gym to properly and quickly sanitize the equipment. Also, there are TOO MANY teenagers in here socializing and taking up space on the equipment. It's frustrating for those of us who want to workout efficiently. The Alexandria location is better and cleaner, however I pass Burke to get home....so here we are. Please clean up.

Seems like it should be a good gym. But it’s very much below average.-Scales. Is it unreasonable to ask that a *gym* have working scales?-Very little space for floor workouts-A weird mishmash of weights-Extremely poor gym courtesy. Weights not put back, equipment uncleaned-Equipment might get cleaned better if they used gym wipes instead of cheap paper towels that one has to spray with disinfectant and come apart upon usePros: it’s close to my house

Basketball court will be taken by the same 10 -15 people 24/7 and they get pissed at you if you try to ask them to play half court. Staff doesn't do anything abt it and calls it "basketball season". Been here the past 4 years it was good at first but last 2 years the same people have hogged the court, for paying $60 a month you'd expect them to have some sort of rule or reservation for a public court rather than having multiple full basketball games in the gym every single day. Equipment is what you'd expect, theatre room is cool and useful. Parking is gonna be horrendous but that's given since it's a gym

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL. We have paid for memberships for ourselves and our toddler. Twice, some guy, who isn’t the manager has harassed us about using the gym with our toddler. Our toddler is in PT and OT and needs flat floor to practice exercises. We take him to a room that isn’t being used so he can move around. Despite us paying for a membership specifically for our toddler to do this, and it is the only reason why we come to this gym, this man keeps harassing us. The head manager informed us we could allow our child to use the space. We only use it for maybe 20 minutes. We were one of the few people using the gym on Christmas Eve…and this is how we were treated for using the gym on Christmas Eve, harassed for letting a child crawl.

I found this gym experience to be incredibly frustrating. It seems like no matter what time you go, except for the narrow window of 10 AM to 12 PM, it's packed to the brim. Trying to use any equipment is a nightmare – it's always occupied and you're stuck waiting as others linger on their phones and engage in lengthy conversations while on machines. The overcrowding and lack of consideration for fellow gym-goers make me question the value of my membership. Honestly, there are other alternatives nearby with less crowded gyms. Save yourself a huge everyday hassle !

Several locations available throughout NoVa. Large gyms, for the most part they are maintained clean and price is great.

Thanks to trainers at OneLife in Burke I’ve been able to achieve my fitness goals. I recommend trying out the group training as it is a great way to achieve your specific fitness goals, and make some new friends. The 6am weekday class is convenient for those who work, as is the 10am Saturday morning class. Ask for Kasey, Jeffrey and Josh, they are knowledgeable, correct you on form so you don’t injure yourself, are supportive without being corny, and just are simply the best. They truly care and it shows! It won’t be easy at first but give it 3 consistent months. It’ll be worth it and you’ll be hooked.

The facilities inside this gym are passable, but the administration is a cesspool of deceit and trickery. As a naive newcomer to the world of gyms, I ventured into their lair seeking information about trial periods or any other form of introductory offer. I wasted over 20 minutes of my life spewing my concerns to the membership desk, explicitly stating my uncertainty about committing to a long-term membership. These conniving serpents disregarded my reservations and slyly manipulated me into signing a one-year contract on an iPad. I foolishly neglected to scrutinize the fine print, but their underhanded tactics are inexcusable.Only when I attempted to cancel my membership did the horrifying truth come to light. The cancellation process is a labyrinthine nightmare designed to frustrate and discourage members from escaping their clutches. Instead of allowing me to cancel in person, they directed me to send an email into the void, where it would languish for days on end. After a week of agonizing silence, I received a response informing me that I was trapped in their clutches for a full year. As if that wasn't cruel enough, they demanded a $10 monthly fee for the privilege of freezing my membership - and only for two months max. This entire ordeal has left me with a profound aversion to gyms. Thanks to One Life Fitness, I now associate these establishments with dishonesty, trickery, and a complete disregard for customer well-being.If you value your sanity and your hard-earned money, steer clear of this deceitful den of iniquity.

The most disgusting experience I have ever had in a hot tub/spa. When I sat in it and leaned my back against the wall, it was slimey. I turn around and there is mold/bacteria visibly growing on the side walls. The pool is always cloudy/dirty as well. Requests for it to have it cleaned were never met.The basketball court has a floor that is not properly fastened to the ground, making for weird spots that the ball doesnt bounce.Definitely not worth the membership.

I’ve lived in this area my entire life and I can say without a doubt this is the best gym in a 30 mile radius. I have gone to just about every gym around here and the price, cleanliness, and overall quality of the facility is unmatched. I can appreciate the high standards they hold at this gym when it comes to cleanliness and the constant maintenance they perform on all their equipment. They have everything you could ask for in a gym and they are constantly updating and upgrading the facility. Not to mention they have extremely friendly staff willing to help you in any way possible. As long as I’m in the area I will continue be a member here.

My main reason to join was to attend the variety of classes they offer but I was particularly interested in Barre. However, the first couple times I’ve gone to class, it’s completely full. I pre-registered for the class so I thought I’d have a spot but nope. It’s more of a first come first serve basis. They should not allow unregistered members to go until all registered have come in to the class. If you’re unregistered, you should be on the waitlist. Probably hard to contain in a big gym verses smaller studios. If you want a spot, especially for Barre or Yoga (they use a smaller studio), you’ll need to go in at least 15 minutes early to secure it, but there’s no saying they won’t pack the room to the max. Really takes away from the experience.
