We waited almost 45 minutes for 5 minutes conversation...There are 2 only consultants, the welcome guy standing there doing nothing. They don't matter how long people wait there. If I work there, I would say how long wait. Really waste time there today. If tellers don't have customers they can do this. Also, you don't prioritize loyal customers only new customers so I want to close my accounts.

I am writing this review as a deeply disappointed customer of Navy Federal. I recently encountered an ACH issue and went through the proper channels to address it. After providing all the necessary information and patiently waiting for a resolution, I was assured by a member of the bank at this branch, that my issue would be fixed. However, to my utter dismay, I received a call today informing me that my problem cannot be resolved.First and foremost, the lack of consistency in communication is highly frustrating. I relied on the information provided by the bank representative, only to be told later that the problem cannot be rectified. This back-and-forth not only wasted my time but also caused unnecessary stress and confusion.Furthermore, I expected better customer service from Navy Federal, considering its reputation as a trusted financial institution. It is disheartening to experience such a letdown when seeking assistance with a legitimate issue. As a loyal customer, I have always trusted Navy Federal to prioritize customer satisfaction and provide efficient solutions.The inability to resolve my ACH issue raises questions about the bank's competence and commitment to resolving customer problems. I had hoped for a satisfactory resolution and a seamless banking experience, but instead, I find myself left hanging without any concrete solution.I strongly urge Navy Federal to reevaluate its customer service protocols and ensure that promises made to customers are fulfilled. It is crucial for a reputable financial institution like Navy Federal to take responsibility for its mistakes and work diligently to find solutions for its customers.I sincerely hope that Navy Federal addresses this issue promptly and takes necessary steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. As a customer, I value transparency, reliability, and effective communication, qualities that seem to have been lacking in this particular experience.I genuinely hope my feedback is taken seriously, and Navy Federal makes significant efforts to rectify this situation. I believe in the potential for improvement, and I trust that the bank will take appropriate action to regain my confidence and trust as a valued customer.

IfI could rate it a -30 l would!!!! This is the WORST location!!!! I waited 20 mins before someone could help me. Every seat in the waiting area was filled, there were 6 ppl in line and there ARE NOT employees here. You will receive quicker service by walking to a branch 5 states away before you’re helped here. I AM NOT RETURNING!!!!!??

Usually when staff - manager on down - have despicable customer service there is nefarious activity going on. NFCU should not let these jerk’s at this branch put a stain on NFCU.. Truly disgusted with these pathetic people! The one person at the receptionist desk was nice, and that seemed genuine. If it is I hope the scum culture does not bring her down to their level.

I’ve been a member for over 35 years and the service has never been this bad. There is literally a line out the door with two tellers working. It’s not even a pay day! Crazy!

I've been an NFCU member for more than 40 years and have been in a lot of different branches all over the country, though I will say I don't go to the bank too often anymore because of online banking (NFCUs is pretty good there as well). The branch in Burke Centre has some of the friendliest staff around. Though it is nearly always fast, if you go on a Saturday morning like I did yesterday (1/7/2023) be prepared to wait. And even though I waited it wasn't too bad of a wait at all. This branch shares a parking lot with all the other stores in the strip shopping area (including a Giant grocery). There are even EV charging stations (2) in the parking lot.

This is the worst branch I've ever been too. I was serviced by Marco. It took 30 minutes for me to deposit a check. He kept leaving his desk without saying anything to me and then would come back mumbling words under his breathe. I found this to be extremely rude. It wasn't just the time that it took that made this experience bad for me it was also his unwelcoming demeanor. I will avoid going to this branch. I had questions for Marco because he told me the check policy has changed. Marco had an attitude when I asked him questions and also gave me incorrect information. I called navy federal after my visit and received accurate information about the banks new check policy.

Navy Federal usually has good customer service. This branch in Burke, VA is an exception. Do not go here and expect service.I had an IRA maturing today and wanted to reinvest it at a higher interest rate and add money to it. This branch’s webpage says they offer IRA services. I make a special trip to the branch to take care of my IRA, and one of the tellers says there is no “IRA specialist” in today, so no one can do anything and I will have to come back another day. They refused to give me access to my money. No one in the bank, including the manager could figure out how to take care of an IRA? Sounds like they were just too lazy to do anything.I drove over to the Fairfax branch where there weren’t any “IRA specialists” either, but one of the customer service representatives figured out what needed to be done.This will be my last visit to Navy Federal except to close out my accounts.

I absolutely loved my experience at the bank today! Everyone working was incredibly kind and charismatic, making small talk as I waited to get my account set up, having goodie bags and free snacks for everyone, helping me set up my digital banking account step-by-step, and even going so far as to asking what my pronouns were (as I'm transitioning) and using them easily. I also gained 55$ just by signing up for my specific debit card plan, which definitely helps me out a lot. I look forward to more experiences with this bank and this specific location!

This branch caught the person who stole my identity. The criminal went into 3 branches to receive bank statements and was unsuccessful. This branch was able to get a person description and the car information. I am grateful this branch protected my info, notes accounts very heavily and prevented some serious damage this person could have done. Thank you Navy Federal. Appreciate all the security measures
