The pharmacy goes above and beyond to make it difficult to fulfill prescriptions. I groaned when my husband asked me to stop by to pick up a prescription (for our dog) called in by our vet. All our family's names, phone numbers (yes, they asked me the dog's birthday) wouldn't pull up the script. "Do you have a call log?"-NO It was obvious it was near the end of the day and they didn't care.

It's a CVS. They are everywhere. This is a true statement, with the sarcasm intended. Yet I'm thankful for this corporation, to have the balls to say "nope" to tobacco sales in their stores. A lot of people thought that was lunacy, my personal opinion right thing to do and makes sense. Due to their somewhat higher prices than competitors, and the ridiculous mile long receipts, I still like them. Yes these are minor grievances, as this is a very clean and organized location. It's usually easy in and out too, which for basic supplies is a win. How are the employees? Very friendly! Their pharmacy staff have come through, checking around for difficult to find prescriptions in a positive manner. There's always someone greeting you, and also at the register when you've had enough of the cheesy music playing over their sound system. They can have occasionally good deals, and if you have the time, you can make out bandit style with their coupons. Props to those who do as I don't, but am relatively pleased with this particular store. Yes there are bigger ones or those that are 24/7, but this one is fine for general purposes.

The self checkout scanners take more time than just going through the regular line. Technology is great but only when it works properly.

The good news is that the store is local and has can be like a one stop shopping experience for many medicine and other drug store items. However it has been my experience that that I can get most of the same items at a Walmart for less cost.

Obviously nobody at this CVS reads the pharmacy reviews. If they did they would realize that the customer service at the pharmacy is pathetic, at best. The pharmacy doesn't answer the phone, and nobody calls you to tell you that a prescription is ready. I've dealt with several different people who work in the pharmacy and find that they are all rude and unfriendly. Nobody who works there smiles----ever. This is a service business, but they literally don't provide any service. Apparently the pharmacy is understaffed, resulting in the employees being overworked and unable to do what they are paid to do. CVS, either hire more competent people or close the pharmacy to spare us the agony of dealing with the incompetence.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Sally, the pharmacist, is a true gem. No matter how busy they are, she is always pleasant and helpful. It is not just a job to her. She cares about her clients and puts them at ease.

So, I know, reviewing your local pharmacy is not exactly the thrilling stuff that you come for here on Yelp, but hey, it's still useful information nonetheless in my opinion! I have always had positive experiences at this CVS. This one woman behind the cash register in particular is so nice, friendly, and accommodating, I actually feel awful for never getting her name but she's great and this CVS, aside from occasionally being out of stock of items midday, has always met my needs. Pharmacy staff is knowledgable and moves quickly in my experience as well.

When receiving a drug that may contain gluten, which is harmful to a patient with Celiac disease, we asked the pharmacist (Eunice) to provide a drug known to be without harmful ingredients. Generic manufacturers often don't divulge this information to patients, but they will to dispensing medical professionals. She refused, indicating that it wasn't her job to find drugs that will not be harmful to patients, and was incredibly rude about it, acting as if patient medical conditions are simply an inconvenient imposition on her day. We offered a list of manufacturers from an NIH website that are known to supply equivalent generic drugs without gluten. She said that she didn't have any of them in stock, and did not confirm that she would order any of them for the patient. In 15 years of dealing with drugs for a family member with Celiac disease, I have NEVER encountered a pharmacist who is unwilling to help provide this level of basic care. She insisted that providing safe medications is not her job. Unfortunately, my employer's new prescription service requires us to use CVS.

Please relocate the new pharmacy manager, Eunice. This pharmacy was great before she came along. Prescriptions were always filled accurately and quickly. Now, the staff are constantly behind, stressed and new faces appear on a daily basis. Sally is a great pharmacist and has gone to great lengths to help all of her customers. Please don't let this new manager run her out, you will have a lot of disgruntled customers. How many complaints will it take for you to take these concerns seriously?! I understand there was a reason behind this shift, and I'm sure she is a nice person, but her personality/work ethic does not work well at this location and the customers are having to deal with the detrimental effects. I have been coming to this pharmacy for 20 years, and have always rated it 5 stars before now. Please do something before more and more customers transfer their prescriptions. Every time I'm there now, another customer is transferring their prescription. I've never seen this before at this location in 20 years.

There are new employees, to our dismay the changes did not create an improvement to the already good and helpful crew. One may think that changes should always be for the better, not in this case, the new employees not only do not care, they do not know. Yesterday I asked one the cashiers if they sale a particular cologne, rather than say: let me check, her answer was: I have no idea. When I asked to the other cashier about returning defective items, his answer was: "we do not honor warranties", pretty much the phone charger was a very expensive one, about 15.00 dollars for about a month worth of use. If you ask for something the answer is: I do not know, let me ask or sometimes they just: dont know. Not a nice place anymore.
