I had very satisfying experience with Mayson Manickham at the Burke Centre Bank of America. The episode began in January when I detected fraud in my checking account. I met with Mayson, and he immediately froze my account Over the ensuing weeks. I met with Mayson several times to work out restitution of the loses that occurred. Mayson made numerous calls on my behalf to have actions taken to restore my losses. He explained what had occurred every step of the way, and reassured me that Bank of America would make good on the fraudulent losses. It took over two months and a lot of time and phone calls by Mason, and he kept me completely informed. He provided exceptional service. I have to add that the manager and employees were always friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Bank of America is not very customer service oriented, but this branch is THE WORST. I go in the branch no one acknowledges me & there are 3 managers sitting there...only 1 working with a client. So it takes 10 minutes for anyone to say hello. Then when she finds out I am not a BofA customer but someone there to ask a question, she dismisses me & will not answer my question. She said before this she had someone coming in within 5 mins but neither of the other 2 managers could answer any questions. I tried to speak to customer service on the phone but you can not reach a human unless you have an acct. number. That is no help at all. On the phone I was told to go to a branch. Everyone shuffles you around to someone else. Again, they were rude & there is NO customer service at this bank!

Thoight these negative reviews were by people expecting the world to cater to their every whim. WOW was I way off and wrong, I get there 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment with the merrill edge advisor well 45 minutes later she's has yet to even acknowledge me even though she did stop what she was doing came out to the lobby talked to someone else and when he left she went right back to her previous client again not even acknowledging me. In between my wait time there were office people walking around maybe help other people who came in then acknowledge me yet when I told them I was waiting on the m.l. Advisor they didn't even let her know I was there. And yes there is, if your lucky to grab her, only one teller on the floor. So at exactly half an hour past my appointment I got up and again no one asked if I needed help. Ane as of seven hours past my appointment time I've yet to get a call from this advisor asking me where I was what happened why I missed my appointment or if I'm even alive. Do yourselves a favor if you have to drive to fairfax city or any other branch. Bank of America NEEDS to restructure this branch with dedicated people or close it down and fire them. THIS BRANCH AND M.L. ADVISOR WILL NEVER SEE MY FACE AGAIN.

Many of these negative reviews are accurate. This is not a good branch location, with poor customer service. The teller couldn't even locate a simple transaction I wanted to identify, and had a very rude, surly attitude while she performed her job poorly. Not a good experience.

There are people who are really, really bad at their jobs, especially the women who work at the counter. The people working there are not friendly and they do things to customers that they would not do at other branches, so it feels like they are being racist.

The location is now closed due to covid-19. Only access to the ATM. No drive-through services.

If I could give a negative star I would. Closed their drive through and reduced tellers to one poor person totally getting the brunt of everyone waiting in line. I was 9th in line and every single person voiced how much they hate this bank. I have moved all but one account to PNC (they have drive through and more than one teller!). The "manager" at BOA wanders around trying to look busy while the line is out the door. Others sit alone in their offices doing who knows what. Customer service is not part of the culture and they act like they are doing you a favor vs grateful for customers. This branch is the worst.

Wait, only one teller every time I go. Just be prepared to wait a long time. The Teller is ok, not too friendly and any time I come, does not seem to happy to be working at this branch. I am just not sure why other employees sit on their butts while people have to wait in line.

Long line (8 waiting) with only one teller. A group of people with an appointment has also been waiting. Inconvenient hours and the very poor service on top of that.

I couldn't be more upset that we follow procedures like you want to but no one can make a decision.! What happen to having Common Sense in America?

We visited this branch to do a name change to do and their service was horrible! They only had two bankers working and we had to wait almost an hour to get helped. When we were finally helped I was told that my marriage certificate, social security card, and old drivers license weren't sufficient to process my name change. Only when I decided to close my accounts instead was an "exception" made. I don't recommend them, both of the staff working seemed very frazzled and it went very slow.

The new manager Jack was excellent to work with today. I went in there to open a Business Account and while there he reviewed my personal accounts and switched me into a new program that will earn me an additional 40.00 a month... Great customer service.
